During this years snow days, I took my work to this cafe and wrote this paper for my English class…For the past couple weeks, I have been doing my virtual work in the small cafe in town, Toasters. This place has been my safe haven from sitting in bed all day. Everyday, I have come to the cafe, ringing the little bell as I open the door. I am always met with a kind smile and a, "Welcome to toasters.” It is a small cafe, so there are not too many tables. Everyone can hear the baristas ask me, “What would you like today?” knowing exactly what I want. “Chocolate latte,” I tell them, just like the day before. It never takes them long to bring my beverage out to my usual table where I have my work set out. The first sip of my paper-wrapped cup is always the best. I could sit there for hours listening to their espresso machine and tasteful playlist. I love wearing my headphones, but I can never keep them on in the cafe; the music I know from my parents' childhood seeps into my own playlist and I cannot help but admire the selections. I sit at a four person table with my bag beside me, facing the kitchen because I like sitting back and listening to the workers talk. Eager to jump in, I listen to them talk about random thoughts that come up; they seem happy. This place would not be the same without them. If my work has been better than usual, you can thank them.I genuinely enjoy being in this cafe and there isn’t a person who I wouldn’t recommend this place to.

I had the uptown BLT and it was probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my life! Will be going back for some sweet treats! Wish I would’ve gotten a picture before I devoured it!

Passing thru the town and made a special stop here. Very nice little sandwich shop. Espresso was very good. Had a sandwich and a salad, was fresh and tasty. Staff is very friendly, cookies and brownies are fresh and delicious. Thanks.

Stopped on last night around 6:15. Got a salad to take to work next day. As usual wonderful! Like the later evening hours.
Nice deli place very clean but a bit expensive and the meals don't come with sides so that's why it's only getting 4

Found this little shop coming thru Hillsville for an appointment. So glad we did! We had the cheese burger sub, chicken salad Crosiant, the chicken cordon blu and potato salad, and pasta salad. Everything was great!! I would drive the 1.5 hour just to eat there again. Also got pie and it was just as good. This is one restaurant I can say I do not have one bad thing to say. Everything from the food to the service was great!
