When I want Chinese food this is my go to spot. They don't use those itty bitty salad shrimp in their shrimp fried rice and the food is always tasty and never too dry or too greasy. I got a platter of dumplings half fried, half steamed and a platter of their vegetable spring rolls and it was a hit with my guests. People were surprised when I told them where I got them.

The food was surprisingly delicious. This is the first time I ate here, and I love the kid at the cashier, He’s nice and he’s polite. They can really work on the lobby although it’s pretty clean but they can maybe upgrade the atmosphere a little bit and make it look nice. But overall it’s awesome! Me and my kids love there!

Really good food, sauces were flavorful and delicious. Sweet and sour pork was cooked perfectly, not overcooked like a lot of places do. The General Tso's was not spicy, but where it lacked in spiciness, it more than made up with how good the sauce was. My daughter got beef lo mein and said it was delicious. The pork egg rolls were decent, but lacked flavor. My son ordered Kung pao chicken and said it was amazing...just didn't like the crunch of the peanuts. Their pork fried rice was spot on. Good place to order your chinese from! Decent amount of seating inside, but we ordered ours to go. We will order from them again, as they have some wonderful things in their menu we want to give a shot! Recommend it!

Thank you for the absolutely delicious meal. I'm from out of town and needed some good food to fill me up and this definitely delivered.
If they can just get someone else to attend customers because their kid is not helping much. Every time he won't even put napkins or forks or ask if x Customers need anything else. Just want to seat there and play his game. We understand that he is a kid but then stop putting him there and treat customers well.

Dragon Palace is a senior business in Hopewell, Virginia. They have traditional Chinese dishes.
I use to come to the restaurant. I was a teenager and they were the only place that served Chinese food in that area. It was very good especially to someone that never tasted it. The Palace is a good place to eat.
I am glad to see it's still here. I had to deliver a order one day . Soon as I got there memories started to form.
The restaurant is 10: minutes from the Appomattox river.
The Appomattox is a tributary associated with the Powhatan Confederacy. It is connected to the Chesapeake Bay. Surry and Prince George Counties 35 minutes away running along the Chesapeake Bay.
A great park to visit named Chippokes State Park .The park is located in front of the Bay.

Every time I come to this place I have a long wait. The food is ok but the child in the from taking the money has grown up and still rude. I guess he just tired from working at the age off 8 and he can’t play good game. They have to do better with the service as far as the wait times they give you. I can just pay over the phone for all that.

Let me preface this review with my son has been the one to go in and pick up...We have only ordered Bourbon Chicken and it is absolutely AMAZING. The best we've had hands down. They are also using DoorDash now! Based on my son's description, the inside of the restaurant could use some work. It's a shame to have a business with such good food and risk it by not cleaning.

I haven’t been there in a while. Asian America was closed so I ordered from here. That place is so dirty on the inside. The person taking my money was a boy who wasn’t any older than 12 and he was so rude. Holding his hand out shaking it while I was counting my cash. Then just jerked it from my hands. Get home and our shrimp egg rolls were all burnt. We had to peel the outside off and just eat the inside. I will not back. Health department needs to shut these people down. I also thought you had to be 16 to work so the labor board needs to be called too.
