K&L has some of the best home cooking in Hopewell! My favorite things to order are the 1/2 fried chicken, BBQ BakedBeans, and mashed potatoes and gravy. You have to pair the fried chicken with the K&L BBQ sauce!!!!! Trust me! It's so fresh and delicious! The menu is loaded with dishes that your grandmother used to make. For some good eating, I would recommend this place to anyone, but I'd also tell them to stay away from the BBQ chicken. I ordered the BBQ chicken...

This place is just a good, down-home diner that serves country food and only takes cash. They are always so friendly when I go there with my Dad, and random people will talk to you. Good stuff, like the way it should be.

This place has the best waitresses of any place I’ve ever eaten. Haven’t had the BBQ but I’ve had the fish twice and it was better than any I’ve had at the beach. Very highly recommend.
