Customers love the french fries, bean trio, and sweet tea, along with the flavorful brisket sandwich and nicely smoked brisket with very little fat. The Mac ‘n Cheese and sweet potato side are also popular, though the sweet potato can be a little too sweet. The kale and black bean side offers something different in a good way.
The restaurant has a drive-thru option for takeout. While some find the seating very spartan and the chairs a little too low for the tables, it suits the casual atmosphere. The energetic and attentive staff, like Nicole who provides excellent service with a bright smile, make the dining experience enjoyable. Though occasionally basic requests like extra hot sauce or to-go boxes may be forgotten, the food is awesome and the portions are unbeatable for the price. The q balls may not be for everyone, but overall, the food is worth trying and worth the money.
