The Boathouse at City Point

Thank you Boathouse for a wonderful experience! We celebrated my husband's birthday. Our food was delicious and Erin was awesome! Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Reservation was scheduled for 7. Table wasn't ready till 7:45pm, the wait staff was somewhat attentive. We had a part of 11, 2 servers the young lady with the blonde bob was so nice and patient. The other waitress didn't bring our drinks to the table and once received they were flat. Had to get a manager involved, the food was heavily salted and we weren't able to eat together as the food came out at different times. We made the best of it even though we were there for a celebration.

Overall very nice experience. Service was fantastic! Most of the food was great. Person who ordered the fried shrimp had the breading falling off instead of being properly adhered to the shrimp. Other than that is was a really nice experience!

Awesome food and service! Great location especially if you have tickets to the Beacon Theatre.

My husband love to eat at the Boathouse at City Point. The service is always excellent, the food is good, and the ambience of the restaurant is wonderful. On top of that, the views of the river are nice from inside or outside on the patio. You're missing something if you don't order a side of their bread while you're there.

I haven't been back in a while because the service was average and the food was underwhelming during my last visit. However, last night was significantly different. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the ambience, although louder than I expected on the terrace, was acceptable. Great evening!

Good service, the food was great and the view made the evening even better. Only concern was that when crowed not enough parking. 😊

Just dined here, and our server Casey was EXCELLENT. She aimed to please, and she succeeded. She is super friendly and made us comfortable... check out the BoatHouse and ask for CASEY

Got to celebrate my mother‘s 77th birthday here. Chef Sue came out and made sure that we had a great experience, great food and even provided a nice treat for us at the end of the brunch. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. It was partly cloudy, but the sun opened up and the view was amazing. Whether it is for a birthday, special occasion or just to have a wonderful meal with a great atmosphere, I would definitely come to the boathouse at city point.

We were there tonight and I just want to brag on our server Taylor. She was so amazing and made our experience top notch!! She is the REAL Taylor as Robert pointed out!!! We definitely will be back and making sure that she is our server again!! Also as always the food was spectacular!!!

Sarah was wonderful!! The food was great! We were celebrating a birthday and the Chocalare Chip with Ice Cream was delightful. I cannot forget sitting outside enjoying the light breeze. What a wonderful lunch!!!

I absolutely love the Boathoase in Hopewell. Its always great to find a little upscale place in an rea you'd never expect it. When my travels find me in Hopewell I stop for a visit. Today Sara B was my bartender and she was amazing...super friendly, authentic, and overall what every restaurant wants from its staff. Thanks for a great spot on the water with a great staff.

Waitress rarely visited the table. Drinks were slow coming. Entire two plates of food were COLD. When the waitress was notified, the manager came over and said we shouldn't have been afraid to tell the server earlier. I told her I told her the next time she came to the table which was when everyone was almost done. She refuted our complaint, saying she had seen the waitress hopping over several times. (Which had not happened) Very unprofessional and disappointing experience.
