Working in the area for another week so I stopped here again for dinner. This time I decided on the beef and broccoli stir fry. Service is quick, food was hot and cooked perfectly. They close at 8pm so get there early. Good for children too. Small salad bar if you prefer. So much food I carried half of it back for lunch the next day. Lots of local folks come by for takeout. Keep in mind that they are closed Sunday and Monday.

We both had trout and it was fabulous. Salad bar pretty small but very fresh. Bread products excellent. We had eaten there maybe 35 years ago !

Stopped in here as a recommendation and we LOVED it! Fried pickles and dip were so delicious: highly recommend! The cheesesteak and fries were very tasty as well. Service was friendly and attentive.

Breakfast before a long motorcycle ride north. The Country Café is clean and the people are nice, both customers and employees. Certainly has a "country" feel which was a really nice change for this city boy motorcycling around the Virginia mountains. I had a delicious western omelet (the omelet photos are very accurate) with toast and potatoes. Food was served hot and it all tasted delicious. Nice serving size had me going till after lunchtime. Food prices are fair and the window view is nice, too. Just happens that this area is half-way to my next motorcycle trip destination. I'll be booking the RoseLow motel and stopping here for breakfast before getting on the road again.Parking: Just added this for fun. You can drive there without worry. Take care, Kenny
This was our second night at Omni Homestead $$$$ and we had to find a place for dinner for 7. Three generations. Country Cafe was superb. I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu, daughter had Salad, another Trout, grandson had steak, another, French fries, pasta. We all started tasting each others because we wanted to share the flavours. Generous portions that we used on the trip home for a catch all lunch. Lovely place attached to an Inn.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My server was Carrie and Patricia and they were great. I highly recommend stopping by and saying hi. Don't forget to try the peach cobbler.

Service was good but food was greasy and lackluster. Not much in town and what is there has crazy hours. One thing I can say about this place is that it's reliable and edible. Had a storm one night that knocked power out in town. Country Cafe had generator power and saved the day.
