What a "Gem" in downtown Hot Springs, Virginia....A Must Stop ! The Wine and Charcuterie Board was excellent....lots of great cheeses, meats, dried fruits, breads, crackers & jams. Was our first time and we loved it, especially, once the bright lights were turned down and it made the atmosphere much cozier and relaxing.

What an amazing experience! Upon walking in, you're met with a contemporary, yet cozy, space and the smell of a clean, well-kept location. The wine was outstanding, the service and conversation top-rate, and the hospitality second-to-none.
If you are looking for a good glass of wine, a wonderful selection of charcuterie and cheese, and a relaxing time, Rock Roadhouse Winery is it.
It's a shame it's so far away from us! We'd make this a regular spot if we could!

Rock roadhouse is ROCKIN’! We vacationed at the homestead for a week in December and quickly found ourselves venturing out around town… only to fall in LOVE with this LOCAL winery. The first time we walked inside, I was taken aback by the cozy and festive decor of this place! Not only that, we were immediately greeted by the warmest welcome from Melina (Mo), the server/manager here. Within a few minutes, we were already enjoying our wine flights, charcuterie board, and had learned a wealth of info about rock roadhouse’s wines! The vineyard is local, all production is local, and the owners are local as well. Rock Roadhouse winery is not just a winery, it is truly an experience that will be enjoyed by all- made special by Melina. It is clear she loves her job and who she works for, which made me even more happy to support this business. We learned a lot about the owners of the place (Bob and Rhonda) and enjoyed every second of every day we spent here! If you’re traveling through Hot Springs, VA or staying at the Homestead, this is a must visit! This will be your best excursion at the homestead, lol! I am a red wine lover but this winery made me fall in love with some whites also! You must try the Traminette (white) and the Roadhouse Red! Anyway, I would 10/10 recommend this place and every single one of their many wines (and yes I did try them all). The Rock Roadhouse Tasting Room is a very pleasant place to relax and enjoy some wine in Hot Springs! The Staff is very welcoming and friendly and the wine is excellent! The Aviator in particular is a very smooth wine. We enjoyed our time there very much!

What a wonderful winery experience! The owners were so warm and welcoming, the nibbles were delicious, the atmosphere and music were lovely, and the wine was divine!! I enjoyed seeing the newly renovated space and people happily sipping on their wine. I highly recommend trying them all, each one is full of body and has a wonderful flavor profile which leaves you wanting more. The best part was… no headache the next day - read about their practices up on the wall inside and you’ll learn how they press and ferment the grapes to precision, leaving nothing but a clean aromatic glass of your new favorite red, white, or sparkling wine!

We traveled to the area for a mini honeymoon getaway and I emailed the winery to do a tasting. Rhonda and Bob were incredibly accommodating, even opening the winery when they weren’t technically open that day, which made us feel so special! We did a tasting sat on the beautiful patio and had the best few hours. Bob and Rhonda took the time to welcome us, to explain their amazing wine making process and passion behind it, and of course we thoroughly enjoyed the wines and charcuterie board as well. We particularly enjoyed the Touriga red.We will always have such special memories of this winery and definitely intend to return! Thank you for helping us make wonderful honeymoon memories!

My girlfriend and I recently became engaged and Rhonda and Bob, by virtue of going there to celebrate immediately after, were the first ones to know besides our families. The hospitality they show everyone is incredible and I instantly felt like I had known them for years. Rhonda was in contact with me the week of for food orders and catered to the Celiac gluten free substitution without issue. I even shared with her that the engagement was happening that day and I believe her excitement was genuine. As for Bob, he is not only a master of the special technique in which he makes his wine, but an absolute student of it too. Listening to him talk about the research and learning involved is really engaging and his joy for making wine is obvious. Kudos and thank you Rhonda and Bob for making our day that much more special - we will be back!
