Brown salad and rude manager. We sat down as a family of 4. Ordered two apps. Only one came. Then we ordered two chef salads and the toppings were scarce and the salad was brown. Turkey was cubed. Then they didn’t have but one very odd tasting ranch dressing. The managers response was everyone else likes this salad. For the quality and service everywhere else this was HIGHLY disappointing. Stay on the main property.
I understand making changes because of Covid but the Omni Homestead has used it as a crutch and an excuse because they are not investing in their infrastructure (place is falling apart). Golfing at the Cascades is always and event and it is disappointing we can no longer sit down for a salad and drink afterward. So tired of all their "to go" options.
We took the shuttle from the Homestead as both the dining room and Woody's were closed. Difficult to understand but true. We looked at the menu, all 6 or 7 lines of it, and ordered a salad and a Reuben. The waitress came back after two minutes, apologized. The waitress has to be the cook too and she was not given the key to the locked fridges. So she made whatever she could. I felt so sorry for her!
The food we received here was good, but I thought it odd that they did not have enough desserts to feed our whole group, even though we had pre-ordered. Hearing it announced, "Does anyone want to share there cheesecake, as we need 12 and we only have 11. Or we have vanilla ice cream" kind of put a damper on the experience. The building is historic, and interesting, though, and the staff was pleasant.
My boyfriend and I had a nice romantic dinner here over labor day weekend. We sat outside with a great view. Food was great at this historic restaurant.
I made an error and confused this restaurant and wrote my review for Woody's, but I meant to review Rubino's, sorry. I will repeat it here and try to delete my review of Woody's. If you don't want to drive, the hotel will take you to the golf course by shuttle; 5 minute ride. Pretty view of the golf course while eating. The food was wonderful. It was price-fixe per person and served family style. Portions were generous and ALL of the pasta was home made. The sauce was also wonderful. Dinner comes with dessert and the entire meal was a great value. Definitely would eat here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our family style meal at Rubinos. The salads and pastas were delicious, and the service was very friendly.
A great bowl of clam chowder. Nice dining area, people were very friendly. A very relaxing experience.
Homestyle dining elevated to a new level.....beautiful scenery, excellent service, fantastic food! Abundant portions! We took the shuttle from the Homestead resort instead of driving ourselves, the way to go! Will return!

My husband had played in a tournament at The Cascades Course while we were staying at The Homestead for a conference and we decided to see how the food was off the actual resort at Rubinos, The Cascades Pro Shop is on the bottom and the Restaurant was upstairs in the old Jakey Rubino family home. I got a Lambburger with melted Feta and pest and sweet potato fries. It was pretty messy to eat but the flavors blended nicely. My husband got a Reuben which he said was fair. The waitress was friendly and the view of The Cascades Course from the enclosed porch on which we ate was pleasant.
Family Style serving of Italian food that was just magnificent. The service was impeccable and extremely friendly. Tiramisu finished off the fantastic meal. If you are ever in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Rubino's.
Magical lunch with family at historic Cascades Golf Course. Rubino's at the Cascades had an excellent menu and superb service.
What a wonderful finish to our morning hike! We could see the clubhouse as we came out of the woods, but I had no idea we were going to eat there! Delightful and delicious.
Just made it there before they closed for the season, (closed Oct 30). The menu has a few salads, sandwiches, etc. but what we tried, strawberry walnut salad, Fairway burger (wagyu beef), and a reuben sandwich all were outstanding. Now remember you are at a golf course so prices are not inexpensive but nothing around this area (Omni Homestead hotel) are cheap. For the quantity and quality, it is worth it. Range $14 - $16. We went back twice and will go back the next time we go back to stay at the Homestead. It is open from like 11 to 3 for lunch and until 5 for drinks.
