Good layout/ambiance. Cute booths and cozy bar. Classic Mexican music playing, but not too loud. Good service. Food tasted good and there was a lot of it. Prices decent.
Things that made this place a 4 star instead of 5…Salsa had no spice (with upcharge for anything spicy), chips were cold, and staff was mopping/cleaning in dining & bar area an hour before closing.

I love this restaurant when visiting Independence! The chicken fajitas and steak quesadilla are my favorites here. And Ashley is the best server ever!
My boyfriend and I had ate dinner at the restaurant. My boyfriend got the red mex burrito and loved it. I got mixed fajitas and the food come out hot but it wasn’t very flavorful and the drink I ordered wasn’t very good. Service was slow as well and this was about 4 o clock on a weekday and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. May try again in the future though as there isn’t many restaurants around here.

From the salsa and queso to the chicken quesadilla, our food was terrific. They have the best flavoring/seasoning on the grilled chicken of any I’ve ever had. Their sweet tea is excellent, too. Service was prompt and terrific. If you’re visiting or live near Independence, VA, it’s a must try place!
