This charming ice cream shop is undoubtedly one of the most unexpected gems in Independence, Virginia. We have been visiting Independence for 12 years, and this establishment emerged around 5 years ago. The food here is likely the finest this town could wish for; I have dined at numerous places in the area, and none seem to grasp the concept of seasoning like the chef here does. After conversing with him and getting acquainted with him and his daughter, I can confidently say that Independence, Virginia, is missing out. I hope that when they film their TV show, they share their story with the world. You can't go wrong with their combined 30 years of culinary experience, and the daughter possesses an exceptional business acumen and a scientific understanding of ice cream.

My family attended the free Dad/daughter ice cream event on Valentine’s Day. It was the first time we have ever tried this ice cream place. Most of the town was out of power and the shop was running on generators. But let me tell you, that was the best ice cream and milkshakes we have ever had! Given the complications with no power, this shop really stepped up the game and made sure customers had a good experience! We will definitely be back and we cannot wait to have your ice cream again!! I would recommend this place over any other ice cream shop I’ve tried!
