This place is awesome! Went there for the first time today to try it out. I've been to the ice cream place next to it. The owner is amazing. He is a awesome guy and serves good food. He also was the person that hired me for my first job 17- 18 years ago. ? The food is amazing and so happy to have found a great new lunch spot.

Terrie's has always been a neat "food truck" and was known for it's good food. Now that new ownership has taken over, things have only gotten better. Plus, some of the changes he has in mind are going to be great. Staying true to the original but bringing his own spin on things. I worked with Joe almost 17 years ago when he was a cook and I was a bartender at a local restaurant and that kitchen stayed busy. Much busier than my bar. The man can cook and on top of that, he's simply one of the kindest, friendliest people you'll meet walking this spinning rock.
Terrie's is a food trailer that seems well liked by the people of Kilmarnock but I just don't see the appeal. 3 weeks ago I went with a colleague of mine to get food while we were doing some HVAC servicing in the area. They were nice but the food was awful. I got chicken tacos which weren't even warm and tasted like canned chicken. I understand that Mexican food in rural Virginia usually tends to be mediocre at best but this was disgusting.I ordered french fries with it which were fine but anyone can cook french fries good. If you're going to put something on the menu it better be edible.My colleague enjoyed his hamburger but there's a half dozen spots in Lancaster County that serve a half decent hamburger for less money. I understand that it was only a single visit but it wasn't tasty at all and not worth the money that we paid. Go to Rita's in Weems or Rocket Billy's in White Stone

Stopped by Monday, May 21st 2023 and got drink, fries and an onion burger (because the man in front of me ordered one and I perked right up). It was absolutely awesome. It was greasy and gooey and eyes rolling back in my head good. Probably moaned a wee bit too. The onions are in burger and on top. Onions were perfect. Some places don't truly cook them to that satisfying place. Where the sugar in the Onions is released.So I liked it. People super friendly and super busy. Can't wait to try other things. Back of my head is calling me a liar..ya know you're going to get an onion burger. Oh and they love friendly dogs.

This little hidden gem of a takeaway shack just off the main road in Kilmarnock serves a really awesome crab cake. Decent size and price, the crab is really fresh and perfectly cooked to order.
Great burger, the wait was short and all the food was very very fresh. The crab cakes were amazing. Loved the outside seating. No doubt, I'd your in the area, you need to give it a try

Unique little set up, it a food truck type trailer that has a greasy diner feel. Just a rocky parking lot, with a little ice cream stand at the end. They have a number of outside tables and picnic tables to sit at. They have all kind of burgers, crab cakes, soft shell crab, chicken salad, BBQ, a whole bunch of things. They had a few signs that said they won awards for crab cakes and soft shell crab, so I couldn't decide which to get. While discussing this with lady taking the orders, the cook popped out and said that she could make a small crab patty and put it on the soft shell crab sandwich. That was super nice. It took a about 10 mins for them to call my name. The crab cake was almost all crab, not much filler. Over all the sandwich was ok. It was a tad greasy. I thought it could have a little more seasoning on it, just thought it was a bit flat. The fries were cold. Seemed like they had been sitting awhile, but honestly they were still tasty, so I can only imagine how good they would be hot. I would stop again and try maybe a burger. While sitting there waiting and eating, I noticed they had quite of bit of traffic.

I’ve eaten here twice now. The first time I was not super impressed, but I know every business has off days, so I decided to give it another try, and unfortunately I was still disappointed. I ordered beef tacos with no lettuce and extra salsa. The beef was flavorless- I mean, not even salt and pepper was added. The “salsa” was also flavorless. It looked like someone had thick cut some tomatoes and dumped them on top of my tacos. They also put lettuce on them, which I let slide, so I was upset that they didn’t have any taste on top of that. For the price, I definitely expected better, more high quality food.

Nice mom & pop food truck/trailer off of N. Main St./art #3. Food: the Bacon Cheese Burger, the Grilled Cheese Burger, Waffle Cut Fries, Sweet Tea and Lemonade. The burgers were cooked right and were juicy. Everything else was good to go also. Pricing was reasonable and All seating is outside. So unless you want to eat in your car, stop by on a nice day.
