King George Chinese Restaurant

My first time. I ordered seafood with mixed vegetables. The shrimp was old, mushy. The crabmeat was artificial. The scallops and vegetables was very good.

This is a takeout restaurant. You can eat there but primarily takeout. Good food. I recommend the crispy hot beef (sweet and spicy) and general Tso's chicken (which is more red than brown suace). I have not been disappointed with all the other dishes as well.

Great food, every time

Been going here since it opened in 2008, Noticed prices have been going up. Bought a diet menu item with a 16.9oz soda, about $18 just for 1 person. There are other Chinese restaurants with lower and higher prices from here to any Virginia location.

Food is always good but the prices have gotten outrageous!

Their food is always good. I've yet to have a problem. Portions are great. Just to be clear in respect to atmosphere, it's a walk in/ take out business, so sitting for a dinner is not really what they do.

We just moved here and had a craving for Chinese food. We were skeptical because of the other reviews, but wanted to try. The food turned out very good and the people were very friendly. We loved that we could see the kitchen as our foods were being made. Will definitely come back.

Have been going here +12 years for take-out. The food is always fresh and abundant! The business is clean and safe. This is a take-out place so it's not going to be decorated like a restaurant. Our orders have been correct every time. The staff is professional and to-the-point. You won't get a lot of chit-chat but really, who needs that. It's the delicious take-out food I'm there for! Our family favorites are the schezwan shrimp, general tso chicken, combination lo mein, beef & broccoli, moo goo gai pan and the house special soup.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We ordered the black pepper chicken and black pepper shrimp with fried rice. Both orders were mostly onions and very little meat. The chicken had a weird chewy texture and the shrimp was frozen baby shrimp. I've never received such small shrimp at any Chinese restaurant. Black pepper chicken/shrimp should be quite flavorful -- neither dish had much flavor and they definitely didn't have the typical black pepper taste.
The fried rice was clumpy, flavorless and there wasn't even a vegetable to be found in it.
It was a waste of our time and money. We wouldn't go back or recommend it.
