The employees are so nice and that give free samples of the thins on display you just have to ask. It always smells like chocolate and candy. I really like the chocolate lollipops and the assorted gummys 10/10 would recommend

Friendly service and every type of chocolate you can imagine! From fudge to truffles to chocolate covered everything! They even have dairy-free options! There's plenty of other types of candy as well as small stuffed animals. I love buying stocking stuffers and holiday themed items here, too! Their chocolate covered strawberries are tasty!... And they have a ton of different chocolate covered potato varieties! You have to try it! Yummmmm!

Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly! It's a kid and grown up paradise! Think... Willy Wonka level chocolate!

Mary’s cakery and kitchen is an amazing candy store in the town of King George, VA! I first came here about a year ago and have visited about 5 times. I am being honest when I say it is the most welcoming business I have ever walked into! They always offer my son and daughter a free cookie! You can tell they are passionate about what they do and people as well! 5/5 stars, amazing people trying to make a living and are what this world needs!

I just want to say this. It took forever for me to write this. But I should’ve done it when I took my first bite. Mary made me red velvet cupcakes with gold sugar sprinkles on top for my wedding. They were the best thing to ever hit my mouth! I love two hours away but we visit family there, and I crave those cupcakes constantly! I cannot ever find bright red velvet cupcakes like that anywhere! I’m telling you they were so good! And I’m not a sweets person, they were amazing I could eat them everyday. Thank you. Plus I had my 2 year old son in the store and a very very very nice lady working there gave my son a free cookie!!! He must’ve loved it cause he WAS NOT sharing with us haha! (Ps he usually offers to share with us everything)what a great place,sweets and people! I absolutely loved it!

Since Mary's started, they have consistently hired amazing staff. The cakes, candy, and fudge have always been absolutely awesome. For me though, the staff makes all of it feel very personal and sweet. They are the Chic-Fil-A of sweets in the area

How can this place get less than 5 stars? This is the most consistently amazing cake and candy shop EVER!!!! The milk chocolate covered raspberry jelly candy is my favorite; but there is absolutely nothing here that isn’t amazing! And the staff… what a great group of staff members here!!!! JUST A GREAT PLACE!!!!!

Luckily we found this store on our way to Colonial Beach. They helped us quickly on a custom order cake which was super impressive. The cake and cupcakes tasted awesome.
Whole store had lot of varieties of chocolate. I was amazed after trying the chocolate covered potato. I recommend to visit this store if you are passing near by. The customer service was excellent!

We purchased candy here for no special reason. It's fun for kids to see so much candy in one place. I didn't know pixie sticks expire but ours were. Mary is rude and should pass on the customer service to younger, more open generations. The cupcakes are average. No cupcake wars won there. Jimmies- not sprinkles. If you don't know the difference, don't ask for sprinkles bc you'll get sprinkled sugar. The chocolates are good but over priced. I can't help but wonder how old they actually are. It's a neat place but stuck in a time warp. I'd rather buy candy and pies at cracker barrel.
