The staff was friendly and accommodating, even taking the time to explain menu options without me asking and without it feeling canned. The chicken sandwich is one of the best I have ever had because it is simple, not overdone, and cooked perfectly. It is a little hole in the wall spot, but it is perfect that way. I would pass on the desserts, not because they are bad, but because there are better options elsewhere. The hot food and staff is definitely where this place shines.
Uncle Dave, Jr's is a family-owned restaurant. No frills but lovely people who go out of their way to take care of their diners. And the food is yummy and the prices are fair. I go at least once a month.
Our waitress Ashley was the only waitress working when we first arrived and the place was packed she did great at keeping up until the other waitress came in (who I didnt know at the time was also the manager) that's when service when down hill. Ashley was cashing out and I asked the manager for a condiment for my sandwich I waited at least 10 minutes while she went around and took new customers drink orders.
