The server was AWFUL. She walked away mid conversation, and did not even know what some things on the menu was. She also got all of our checks wrong. & she was rude to walk away when we were talking. The food was awful, it looked like it was prepared horribly. I do not recommend.

Food was good, but I got terribly bloated after eating it and had a horrible headache.
They asked us to wait 10 minutes to be seated even though there were 3 servers and the place was 80% empty.
Then the place itself smelled like a sewer. And the bathroom was foul.
I can't really recommend it. With just a few cleaning touches it could be much better. And I think the food is waaay too greasy

On 12/12/2025 at approximately 8:30 PM, I witnessed a waiter eat food directly from a customer’s plate while transporting it to be served to the customer. I observed the manager attempting to redirect employees to better attend to their tables, as she was repeatedly pulled away from customers due to long wait times and employees struggling to multitask. This location may benefit from additional training, such as role-playing exercises, to improve service skills and reinforce proper food-handling practices, including essential dos and don’ts.

The host was friendly and inviting, probably the most helpful employee of the evening. Our waitress was very friendly but disappointingly slow and ignored our table, sorting out papers and a nearby table waiting until our appetizers were ready to even bring us our drinks (she's the one who told us this) and then didn't even check in after giving us our food which we couldn't even eat because we didn't have any condiments besides ketchup. And then upon needing refills we asked two waitresses because ours was nowhere to be seen neither which got our the refills and it ended up being the host walking by that refilled them. Very disappointing

Just left Applebee's south hill, food was ok but service was terribly disappointing. Salad was old, son was served and finished eating before our food came. Daughter ordered chicken, received shrimp we told the waiter she said she knew it was wrong and wouldn't charge us for it. Then the bill came and we were charged for the shrimp. That was taken care of we left payment on table, got outside and waitress comes running out and accused us of not paying. Even had backup with her. That was our Applebee's Neighborhood experience. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Stopped at this particular location today on 11/23 around 5pm, the absolute worse experience I’ve ever had, hostess did not greet us, we were originally taken to a booth that was clearly broken, other guests told us not to sit there because the booth was broken, so we were moved to another booth, after that we sat for about 10 minutes, no one stopped & said anything to us, so I decided to ask to speak to a manager, of course after that, a server appears with an attitude, takes our drink order & leaves, shortly after, a manager comes, by the name of Dallas, completely unconcerned & very dismissive & basically asked us what did we want her to do about it, as though we were bothering her, I then asked for the number to corporate & was informed that she would be the one taking the complaint, after that she walks off, another young lady comes to the table & advises us that she will be serving us & confirmed our drink orders, I then asked her for the number to corporate & she politely advised that she would get the number for me, a few moments later the rude manager by the name of Dallas, comes with a card & a number on the back & slides it on the table & states that’s the number of her regional manager & that she was refusing service & for us to get out! Drove 30 minutes to be completely disrespected & thrown out for speaking up & asking for corporate’s number! Service is horrible because management is horrible!!

Service and food very good today. Pop had the bacon cheese burger with a side of coleslaw. I chose the bone- in chicken wings with BBQ sauce along with a small side of onion rings to share. And always, we get a side of fresh cut jalapenos to crunch along with the meal.
The bacon, burger, and wings, were cooked to order. The service was impeccable Very nice! Thank you!

My husband and I went yesterday for our date. Our server Jameka was wonderful and we were very pleased. Very attentive to us so when we return we will be asking for her. No offence to the others though. The food was hot and delicious. Kudos to her and this location. 😊
We arrived at Applebee’s in La Crosse around 9:30 PM on a Saturday night as a group of seven. The hostess did not give us any silverware, when she gave us the booth. The booth we were given was dirty and flies were flying around. Due to the time of night, we decided to stay since we were already there.
Our server was very polite, took everyone’s drink and food orders precisely, and even verified everything, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, the kitchen experience was disappointing. After about an hour of waiting, the server informed us that the Prime Rib Dipper was unavailable, so we placed a different order. About 20 minutes later, he returned to let us know they were also out of bone-in wings — even though boneless wings had already been served to our table earlier. At that point, I chose not to reorder anything.
The rest of our food didn’t arrive until between 11:00 and 11:15 PM. Thankfully, everyone said their meals were delicious, and our server continued to handle everything with patience and professionalism.
I’m grateful for the good service and the positive attitude from our waiter, but the kitchen delays and multiple unavailable items made the experience frustrating. We were just passing through La Crosse, and unfortunately, this will likely be our first and last visit to this location.

I wanted to have a nice dinner break from traveling with my family and we stoped at this location when we ordered food we were waiting for our food for 3 hours, we kept reminding the staff about our food because other family's that came in got their food pretty fast, the staff kept ignoring us every time we tried to talk to them. About the food my daughter who is 7 years old ordered chicken tenders and got only 2 pieces they were not from the kids menu, and me and my husband ordered burgers but they were cold. So overall if you don't want to waste your time and starve to death while you're waiting then I don't recommend this place.

We waited about 10 minutes just to get seated then 15 minutes just to get our orders and drinks taken, they brought our appetizers out after 20 minutes of waiting just for them to burn it. Overall it took us around 40 ish minutes to get our food just for the burger to be raw. Definitely don't recommended, just go eat over at sonic. Edit: I got food poisoning from their chicken tender platter, definitely don't go here if you want to be up at 1 am throwing up.

We ate at your restaurant Friday night. You have a terrific waitress named Tahiam.shes the best waitress we've ever had at your restaurant. Friendly always checking on us to see how we're doing. I usually give one of your waitresses a 10 dollar tip. I gave her 20 dollars. A 10 dollar bill and put 10 dollars on my card. Now everytime we come to your restaurant, we'll ask for her. Thanks.
