We sat on the veranda with a view of the woods and Lake Frederick. We had a 3 pm reservation, so there were few other diners and it was quiet. But when we left a little before 5 the bar was filled and the entrance area was too--it must have been happy hour for the residents! The food was very good, nicely plated and reasonably priced. We were disappointed there were no Virginia wines on the menu and neither of us recognized the wines that were available (we are both in the VA...
I tried a new entre. A steak wrap with corn, beans and slaw. It was served warm and I felt the beans overwhelming! I also ordered the crispy French fries which were served piping hot. My friends ordered the crab cake sandwich which I tasted and wasn't impressed with. They had the seasoned sweet potato fries which were delicious! Our service was excellent and the lunches were attractively plated, just disappointed with flavors. We will go back again because we love the dining...
The only problem is that they did not have my Open Table reservation even though I received a confirmation and reminder from Open Table. They said this have been happening a lot so you may want to connect with them and see what is happening.
