Antojitos Mios

I come here often but have recently found you're at the mercy of who's minding the kitchen. As in, when the cat's away the mice are at play. When the owners/operators are there, orders are correct, and the food is good. Recently I ordered a chicken burrito. Two young women were running the place, and I got a steak burrito minus some of the ingredients. No beans, no avocado, no queso. Basically, just asada (not pollo), and rice. While waiting, the two women were dancing and giggling inside. Normally the wait is 10-15 minutes to receive your order however on this particular visit it was more than 30 minutes.

Hair in my food after a snafu , the employee didn't accept my only form of payment which was a $100 bill and forced me to break it elsewhere . I return after running an errand & see the food I ordered had been prepared & sitting without telling me she would prepare it while I was gone. Terrible communication & terrible expirience. I notice the owners are trying to protect their reputation by creating obvious fake 5-star reviews & I'm sorry but this is unacceptable.

If I could leave 0 stars i would I recently went today and I ordered 3 pupusas I asked how long it would be they said 15 minutes when I came back after 20 minutes they said it was still not done yet but that would be out in a few minutes I waited about 6 more minutes and they said that that pupusas were hard to make and that one of the pupusas broke apart so they had to redo it. I told them I only have a 30 minute lunch break and this has never been so slow. The man that worked there said next time I should order tacos because they are easier to make. I explained that if you can't make a dish you should not have it on the menu one i got my food 1 pupusas burn and seemed like it was made by a child and another was still raw you can still see the bits of cheese that was not even melted yet all 3 looked horrible a huge insult to salvadorians this is the worst experience I have ever had

Surprised to see the recent negative reviews. This spot was amazing! Fresh made papusas, delicious birria tacos, and excellent green sauce! Took a little bit of time but that is expected as the papusas are made fresh when you order. Definitely check it out!

The BEST Mexican food truck in the area! It is super authentic and always fresh. The food is amazing but in particular they’re made to order tamales. You have to contact the owners wife and get a minimum of 12 either chicken, pork, or rajas but trust me it’s worth it!

Absolutely delicious burritos with carne asada, and incredibly friendly staff. They have 2 tables and this is the perfect place to have a delicious sunny lunch. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic food.

I love this place, the owners are super nice and always offer a great customer service but it seems the ladies that are there when the owners are gone just do whatever they want to do. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I order food on a day the owners are not present and I get old burned pupusas or tortas with barely any meat inside. I just picked up an order of pupusas for my son and chicken tortas for me and my daughter on my lunch break and when I got home and opened it, it seems those pupusas were sitting there since yesterday, burned and thin as a sheet of paper. I’m sorry I have to leave this review but again, this is not the first time. I guess I’ll have to make sure the owners are there before I place an order in the future.

Not only where the person took my order was so sweet, but the food was really made with love. I tried the carnitas tacos and other places sometimes it’s a little too fatty but Antojitos Mio was not fatty at all. Good quality overall.

Love the quesadilla, tacos & birria! Excellent customer service too. Food is so good 😊
