Asanka Delight Restaurant

I went to my mechanic today and I saw this beautiful restaurant called Asaka delight. I decide to go there and see what is going on over there. Such a beautiful place I like the atmosphere. The service was nice. My problem is that what I ordered was tilapia with kenkey. I came home to enjoy it, Everything was fine. The food was nice, but the Tilapia was too sweet. In my observation. I think they put a lot of Maggie cube in the tilapia and the fresh pepper also has lot of Maggie cube which I think they should check and watch out for that. Thank you

The restaurant was clean and food was delicious but it took them about 2 hours for them to serve my food and then when they brought out the food it wasn’t even the right order great food tho.

Yes, yes, yes!!!! This is the best African Restaurant in Woodbridge!!! Thank you for coming along and making really good food. The portions are great, the pricing is just right..not too expensive, and everyone I've encountered there so far has good Customer Service ???

Great food. If you’re not used to African food, I recommend the jollof or waayke to start out with. But if you are experience, definitely recommend a different varieties of fufu with soup

Great environment, excellent service. Fresh and flavorful food with large portions, worth the wait time. A great option for a dine-in West African meal. I'm looking forward to returning very soon!

It was my first time trying this place, I ordered when it was near closing time and omg the food was fresh and delicious, and the staff was so nice to me. I love cassava leaves and it was the best I have tasted!! The chicken was also very flavorful. Asanka Delight have definitely gained a new customer ?

I stopped through this restaurant after grocery shopping. What a delightful surprise! I ordered the Volta Special (gumbo) with white rice. It took awhile but it was worth the wait. The perfect amount of heat and spices. If you don't like the slime of okra, this dish is not for you. I will return because it was delicious!!! Huge portion, expect to take some home ... or bring a friend!

Great place to eat and hang out, customer service on point and food on point, especially banku and okro.

Been waiting to go here ever since I saw some reviews on Tiktok and let me tell you this place did not disappoint. I will definitely go back and try more. Best Jollof Rice.

As an Egyptian, I've never had West African food before but I always drove past this restaurant on the way to work. Decided to pick up takeout yesterday and I was BLOWN away! I was so happy eating everything I ordered, the spices were on point! Was this food made with pure love? Because I sure fell in love ❤️

I ordered Wakkye stew, Volta special [I'm an okra lover] which came with fufu, a side order of Jolof rice, and an iced hibiscus drink. The okra and the crab were absolutely lovely, and the spices hit all the right places. The wakkye stew came with beef, fish, goat/lamb, and plantains. The rice and beans were so hearty.

I usually get Indian food when I want something spicy but now Indian food has major competition. West Africa all the way!

I'll be back to dine in for sure! ?
