Food was good, service was timely and friendly, cost was reasonable. Nice little place to eat and watch the river. Menu had a good variety. Grand-baby LOVED the green beans!

Waited to be seated for quite awhile. Once seated 1 hour & 20 minutes before food arrived, checked multiple times and was told it's going to be just a few minutes & we're busy in the kitchen. First and last visit! Horrible service and when the "manager" came over she didn't apologize but was rude. Will NEVER go there again.

Fantastic food, service and the best view of the Chickahominy River! The restaurant and marina are family owned and they care about their customers as much as they care about their business.
We go here for lunch or dinner about twice a month. We love the atmosphere and food even more. The staff is always polite and professional. Great local and family owned place.
Best local seafood, great prices, family friendly, your all family here at Taylor's . The restaurant is clean, neatly decorated, knowledgeable and friendly staff, the waterfront views to enjoy dinner or even drinks is a must!
Foof was very good but our waitress was not friendly, was actually kind of rude slamming our drinks down on the table, probably will not go back!
Great spot on the Chickahominy for boat in dining! The service was great and the tuna sandwich was great. The humor of the menu copy a 10!
I have been going to Colonial Harbor (Taylor’s) for 30 years. If you like home cooking and old marinas you will not be disappointed. Friday nights seems like their busy time however you never know about the boating crowds appetite. Much of the food is fresh so if the weekend is busy they could be out of certain items. If you are arriving by boat most of the docks (not the slips) are open to restaurant guests. Remember don’t tie up in front of the gas dock. Also the chocolate cake was incredible this weekend! We tried to buy the whole cake but they asked us not to so other customers could have dessert. If you like chocolate cake try it you will not be disappointed!

Basic down home atmosphere excellent service very kind and attentive server traditional bar and a restaurant with a basic menu very good breakfast buffet traditional Southern recipes reasonable prices outstanding cooks
We are locals, and decided to try this place for for first time. Our young son has been here with friends and encouraged us to go here for lunch. This is certainly a dive that i would not expect a tourist to find. located at a marina at end of gravel road, only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Our server was friendly, food arrived in decent time. We all enjoyed what we had, burgers and tuna steak seemed fresh. We will go here again. Who knows, might become regulars.
