This is a takeout Chinese restaurant and does not have an eat in portion, but I was visiting my parents from out of town and was horrified to see the rating here because it does NOT reflect the quality of the food.
I have eaten here since I was in high school which I am embarrassed to say is now 20+ years ago. This family has fed my family for just as long. The owner ALWAYS knows my father by name and food order (he has always been the takeout gofer haha) and I truly believe they care about their customers and the community. The quality is great and considering the location, it is probable that this restaurant has fed more people in this county than any other person around in that time.
I have lived in California, South Carolina and all over the state of Virginia but China King has always been my favorite Chinese restaurant and its always awesome to get to eat when I come home.
Please continue to support this small family business because they are a cornerstone of the community. From our family, thank you for decades of delicious meals!

You can only call to place your order and pick it up from the drive-thru. Do not try to place your order at the drive-thru. You WILL be turned away and told to call the number. The food is just mediocre at best. I definitely was not impressed. It is the only Chinese food in town, so that is your only choice. Good luck.

The drive thru is so conveninent. Its the best chinese food in this area. The lady somehow always miracuoulsy knows my order when I pull up and she is always extremely polite and courteous. They are cash only which can be inconveinent but I know ahead so its not a biggie.

Food use to be ok know it's just overpriced and hard brought 4 sesame chicken for the family had to throw all away for almost 50 bucks don't know what happened but i have wash my hands i use to love the restaurant in emporia before they shutdown due to there tragedy. If you want a good meal to eat you may need to rethink your choice i wasted my money.

Arrived to restaurant door LOCKED!!Lady saw me standing there for a while, then yells CALL IN!! Really if that's the case put a sign on door to indicate CALL IN ORDERS ONLY SHE WAS RUDE AS HELL!!
