Chandra and Dan were very accommodating. Sunday supper was delicious. They even took us on a private tour of many of the rooms. We will be returning for the food and the beautiful history of this 1766 estate. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Valentine's scallops, salad, and bread pudding were excellent. The waitstaff was fine, but one server short. The main course was tabled 90 minutes into the dinner. The dining room was very cold, parking was limited and tight, the grounds were unlit, and the walkway sadly in need of repair.
Such a little gem less than an hour from Charlottesville. It's an inn as well with simple but comfortable rooms. The staff is warm and inviting. The food was excellent. You have to order the chocolate gluten free cake. It is to die for. We went to Charlottesville for a couple nights, one night at the Inn and Tavern at Meander, for our anniversary in December, and it was such a nice addition. Also nice to be able to have a nice dinner at your inn. You can have a little wine...
