The view is lovely but the deck is in serious need of better shade protection. Lots of tables but very small umbrellas. Seems odd to spend so much money updating but still the same old worn out furniture. Saving grace is the friendly staff and the food is generally good.
Took my stepson here for a goodbye dinner before his deployment. Just bought a house in LOW after living in here for 3 years renting; we've been to the clubhouse previously a total of 5 times as renters, this is the first as owners. The food was excellent, the service also excellent. The ribs are to die for, so are the wings, and the pretzel for apps. For the main courses, they had a special on a haddock; that was WILD, ridiculously good! Burger on point, crab cakes on point,...
A throw back to the elegance out dining out. White table cloths, expansive windows overlooking the lake and grounds. Friendly staff and guests who truly appreciate the atmosphere this clubhouse offers.
