The best Hawaiian food in Virginia, taste just like back home on the Hawaiian islands ? Made me feel like I was back in Hawaii ?️ overall the experience was so beautiful and the food was so ono?I didn’t have time to take pics of everything cause was bomb ? I highly recommend that everyone try this place, the owners had so much Aloha I love it
Came for the Kalua pork and it was so tasty! I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu. So happy to have authentic Hawaiian food nearby!
Whenever I’m missing home cooked (Hawaiian) food I come here to get my fix. You are welcomed with Aloha as soon as you walk in. Food is ono (delicious) and they sell Portuguese sausage to take home.
Real nice people, great service and atmosphere! The food was so good, I ordered 2 meals to go!
The only reason lace in town that is like Hawaii Food quality and atmosphere as well as the owners and staff Aloha Spirit there .. unless you can’t afford to fly to Hawaii this is a real treat to go to!! I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Kid-friendliness: Local Kids grew up with this kind of food so just having it and cooked and prepared by original Locals From Hawaii they took a step further to share it on the east coast what the real flavors taste from Hawaii .check out the poke you don’t have any lettuce or avacado you get the REAL DEAL!!! Kids and all Ohana alike walk out smiling after lunch or dinner.. I still take out some food I never tried.. so I need to make it back there :soon I live 120 miles away but this place is the true Hawaiian flavor and food!!!
Parking: Drive up to the restaurant or the next row parking get plenty parking
A wonderful and unique restaurant has graced Locust Grove and I was very excited to try this place for my birthday dinner. It's hard to imagine that we are lucky enough to have a Hawaiian restaurant with very traditional dishes. Unfortunately, much of the menu was not available as we were told that the ingredients are imported and many and has not arrived yet for the week. What the restaurant did have and we were able to eat was absolutely fantastic, no question about that. There is also so much that the restaurant could do in terms of environment and decor to evoke the feeling of being in a Polynesian place but was left undone. That said the service is stellar and the waiter was absolutely. The food we had was perfect and had all the familiar flavors from the wonderful state of Hawaii. I hope that the restaurant continues to develop and will endure for many years to come. I know that I will be a repeat visitor and I highly recommend everyone to try this unique restaurant.
I am always looking for Hawaiian food that takes me back home to Oahu. This is nothing less than one of those places. The poke wasn't like all of these trendy commercial places, it was from home...just like the kind you get from Dai-ei.Shoyu chicken was moist and you gotta pour the broth over your rice. Katsu was crispy and not greasy.I read a lot of reviews about the Mac salad. In hawai'i, Mac salad is more mild, there isn't any relish in it like Mac salad from the mainland. It's going to be more mayo based, Nicole got it right!Guava chiffon is a must have if you go! Can't wait to see what other things are added to the menu.Alex was an awesome server and so accommodating and sweet!I'm so glad we found this place and I was able to share Hawaiian food with my significant other, we will definitely be back!Mahalo!!!
Went here with my family. Everything I got or tried was so good! Comfort food and hit the spot. The flavor is amazing! My husband and I travel for good food, so it’s nice to have this restaurant local. By far one of the best restaurants around here. We’ll be back for sure!
Great new restaurant in Locust Grove! Fresh Hawaiian tastes are a nice alternative to the typical restaurant menu offerings. Give it a try, I loved the Poke nachos!
Customer service was awesome and food is fire. My family and I love trying new hawaiian food spots. This place tops em all. If you want original hawaiian favorites this is the spot. Combination fried rice with spam and Portuguese sausage fire. Kalua pork mac salad and garlic shrimp delicious. From mochiko chicken to salmon poke and musubi everyone loved everything. The chef even came out at the end to greet us. It's the little things. Definetly worth stopping by and getting some good food. We'll be back ?
Vegetarian options: 1 option but they are working on some more options

Their Poke nachos were so delicious! ? We'll definitely be going back, just for that. The fried rice was also very delicious. The mac salad, potato salad, and LauLau pork were just OK. The Spicy Garlic Shrimp were really greasy and I had to peel them while hot and greasy, not fun, although they were really tasty. Will be going back for more Poke nachos and fried rice and to try some other things.
Loved everything about this place. We spent almost 4 years in Hawaii and loved the food there. Locus Grove Fork & Spoon brought back all those memories. The shoyu chicken and teriyaki beef were so ono (delicious). The sides (rice and mac salad) were just like being in Hawaii. They also have Hawaiian Sun drinks, which if you've been to Hawaii, then you KNOW. My wife is a huge guava fan, so we had to try the guava chiffon cake, which was incredible. It's definitely worth a visit.
My daughter, 2 friends and I visited today for lunch. We each ordered something different so we could share and try what we could. My daughter and I had the Hawaiian Sun canned drinks, Passion Lilikoi and Strawberry, you have to have these when eating hawaiian food. We shared 2 spam musubis as an appetizer. The Mochiko chicken was crispy and delicious. The beef teriyaki was marinated just right! The Kalua Pig and Laulau were the best! I ordered a side of poi with my Laulau platter, I loved eating it with the Lomilomi salmon. The haupia cup was just right to finish off my meal. I also ordered a side of poi to share, I'm not sure they cared for it, but I did. My mom taught us to eat it with sugar, and I am a sweet tooth, so that's how I like it. At the end of our meal our server asked if we wanted to try the Lilikoi (passion fruit) cake, but we were all too full...I did get a piece to go, and later in the day when I tried it, it was melt in your mouth delicious! The owner came out a few times to speak with each of the restaurant's guests and shared a special treat with all of us....Mahalo! My mom is from hawaii , some of my family lives there, but I grew up on the west coast. I do miss the flavors/comforts of asian-hawaiian food here, but now I'm glad there is a place closer to us that we can frequent for reminders of being back home. This place is soooo ONO if you want to try some authentic hawaiian food!!! Mahalo nui loa!!!!!!
Absolutely authentic delicious Hawaiian food. It is so worth the drive to Locust Grove, Va. but tastes like you are eating at the North Shore. I was actually happy that I stopped in....I will be back...If you don't know what to have for dinner do yourself a favor and go Hawaiian...you won't be sorry.
Parking: No problem with parking and no parallel parking ...there space for horse trailers to stop and go as well..easy in and out onto rte 20.
ONO KINE GRINDZ!!! As someone who was born and raised in Hawaii, this is as close to local food as you can possibly get. For people who have not ever had Hawaiian food, it may be a bit of a jump, but if you’ve ever eaten local food in Hawaii this is the best you’ll find in Virginia. They are just starting out as a business when we are here so the atmosphere is a bit lacking but I’m sure that will come as the business grows. The service was excellent too! The waiters seemed to know what all the food was or at least tried their best to describe the foods to the costumers around us who were unsure. Overall, this place made me feel at home!
