Where do I begin?!? I use Bev stuff up by 2 other chefs. I called Chef Gail on short notice to cater my 10 to anniversary. Not only did she come to the rescue…she gave us exactly what I wanted! Her and her assistant was phenomenal!! She gave me many options to choose from and let me tell you…she didn’t disappoint! We had a 4-course meal which was prepared in our home and served to each of my guests! She also gave me wine parings for each course. It was such a hit! We left full and overly satisfied! If you need a chef…you need to call her!!! Hands down a wonderful experience!!

Chef Gail is a true Trini chef!!! She knows how to cook wonderful Caribbean food which makes me think of home. Her j*** chicken was fabulous, the rice and peas were delicious, and her callaloo was superb! If you want GREAT Caribbean food, call her. She can cook other foods, but I wanted food that tasted like l was at my grannie’s on the island.Chef Gail cooked for my birthday and l loved everything! I had no complaints. I will definitely call her again. She was timely, professional, friendly and personable, all the things l want in a chef.

Chef G is AMAZING!!! She catered 2 small birthday parties for me and my sisters. We all felt like royalty! She worked easily with our food allergies, and even offered vegetarian and gluten free options that made everyone feel included with ease. For breakfast she made the best omelets we've ever had (And I am an omelet snob, they have to be just right and these were perfection). She prepared everything fresh and cooked them perfectly to order.She even made gluten free blueberry muffins that tasted better than anything you could find at a bakery. For dinner she created a customized four course meal that got better with every bite. We were stuffed! She even made my birthday cake (red velvet) from scratch that was moist and delicious! Her attention to detail and fun personality made her instant family! I could go on and on about Chef G but instead I'll just say that if you want phenomenal food and service with a personal touch, Delectable Dining is the place to call. I am 100% hiring Chef G again for ANY and ALL of my events! Thank you Chef!

In both cases Chef Gail is my favorite culinary experience and the creative genius of the menu selection design and presentation are out of this world. Chef Gail catered a reception for forty people with an effective combination of culinary expertise and sincere personal attention. Her hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, which we selected from a wide variety of imaginative flavor combinations, were as tasty as they appear in the web site photos. I respected her judgment about variety of foods as well as attention of dietary choices (vegetarian, etc.), with Gail offering helpful suggestions without seeming bossy. In addition to one Zoom conversation at the outset that enabled us to get to know each before setting final menu choices and other details, she responded promptly to all of my questions via email. Gail's prices are reasonable and she presented her estimate equally promptly. (By the time another caterer had provided a costlier estimate five days after I received Gail's, my family and I had already finalized the menu through several rounds of tweaks, signed a contract, and paid half of the estimated cost. For the event itself, Gail was present in the kitchen to make sure everything went smoothly--which it did. Delectable Dining by Chef Gail earns our five stars despite two less-than five star details: 2) delicious appetizers such as samosas and kabobs was hot when first served, but no heat source such as candles or burners provided beneath the aluminum serving trays to keep the food from cooling rather quickly. The only hors d'oeuvre that was not popular were the hot Caribbean-style crab cakes, which were very dense and rather oily. Apart from these quibbles about the nibbles, my family members, guests, and I were very satisfied with Chef Gail. I recommend her highly and would choose her without hesitation to cater another event in the future.
