I typically do not write bad reviews but I was extremely disappointed with the dining experience tonight. I have been to this glory days quite a few times but I’m not sure if I’ll be returning. We were seated in the restaurant at 9:50, but we weren’t greeted until 10:08. We placed our order as soon as we were greeted because we are aware the restaurant closes at 11:00. It was a noticeably slow night and we just ordered 2 appetizers along with 2 margaritas, but the appetizers didn’t come out until 10:38 and this was the first time we were checked on since we ordered. We were checked on by our server only twice during our dine. We wanted to order more drinks before last call, but due to our server being absent most of the time we weren’t able to ask for another margarita until after last call; which the server had to “ask their manager for permission” to serve us after last call. Oh also asking for another ranch is .50 which is crazy to me. Never have I been charged for ranch! The drinks were not strong. I’m very disappointed.

This was a great stop before boarding the auto train! Service was wonderful and they brought a complimentary appetizer sampler since it was our first time(I didn't ask for it)which was great. Highly recommend this stop .

I don’t often leave reviews, but as someone with 5+ years of service experience I was actually shocked with how poor the service was this evening, mind you it wasn’t packed, but just a few tables. Starting off, our server didn’t even bother to tell us her name, but just walked up very quickly to grab drinks. She then quickly ran off before we could even attempt to order anything else. Barely checked up on us throughout our entire dining experience. I put some empty dishes and cups aside hoping she’d attempt to pre-buss the table, but unfortunately she didn’t. Found out at the end through the check that her name is Nicole. The service industry is NOT for everyone!

The staff at the bar are exceptional! Thank you Tiffany, Ginger, Sadie, and Andrea! If all bars/restaurants had clones of you, it would be really tough to decide where to go...

My wife and I stopped here while traveling south. Both of us have been in the food service business for 40 years. It was the first time I had had a deep-fried Monte Cristo. Our waitress sat down in a booth while we were eating, and I had a hard time getting her attention for the check. We sat in a booth, and you could tell the cushion hadn't been cleaned around it in a while. The place was pretty empty, and I see why.

Welcome to Glory Days Lorton! Where you reminisce about the glory days, of Glory Days!

I worked for 2 years as a server at Glory Days in Reston, alongside my wife, and this location is just now what a Glory Days should be. We arrived at 6:00 PM, and the restaurant was about 1/2 full. We were promptly seated, but then had to wait 10 minutes for our server to arrive. When she did, she did not even introduce herself. We ordered two diet cokes for ourselves, a ginger ale for my son, and a milk for our daughter, as well as our daughters meal (a hot dog).

Thus began our night of constantly waiting. We ended up waiting approx. 12 minutes for our drinks to arrive.

The silver lining in our meal was that our daughters meal arrived about 2 minutes after that, and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

We ordered our meals at the same time that our drinks arrived: a Glory burger, an 8 pc. Boneless wings (mild sauce ON THE SIDE), and a rib/tender combo. We also ordered the Slam Dunk Pretzals. We were still somewhat optimistic in regard to our visit at this time, but that was short lived.

During our wait, we finished our beverages, and our server did not acknowledge that we were in need of a refill. Other staff were walking by, and none of them asked if we wanted a refill. We were perplexed, this was not how a Glory Days was supposed to operate.

My wife had a view into the kitchen and was able to see the expo screen (a monitor used by the kitchen staff to manage orders and outgoing food), and according to her, it was blank. This has only 2 explanations: firstly, the expo staff could have cleared everything accidentally, but this could be brought back in moments, OR, all of the entered food orders were already cleared, meaning our order would either have not been entered, or sent to the wrong table. She kept checking on it, but wasn't able to read anything.

Finally, our server showed back up at about 7:00, and got us refills. She then told us our food should be out shortly and apologized for the delay, as "there was a large party seated at the same time that we were". She then vanished again.

Another 10 minutes go by, and she comes back out telling us that the kitchen was backed up and our food would be out in 5 minutes. We were very frustrated at this point, but endured.

Finally, she brings out my son's meal (see above), and it is incorrect. We said screw it, we had waited too long by this point, and he ate it. She then brought out the other two meals, which were both to order, but the chicken tenders were over cooked on the rib/tender combo. We NEVER got our Pretzal appetizer.

During our meal, we finished our drinks again, and when she came back to check in on us (another 10 minutes later), I requested refills again. When she brought the refills, instead of the 2 diet cokes we were expecting, we received 1 iced tea, which both of us don't like.

We requested the check and paid without even fully finishing all of the meals.

I pride myself on never tipping poorly. I worked this job before, I understand the pressure that serving staff goes through when working, BUT... this has to be some of the worst service I've ever experienced. I truly hope the management sees this and reads it. This experience is not something that should be happening at a restaurant that is half full.

From the moment we walked in, the lack of enthusiasm from the staff was evident. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait, which felt like it was intended to discourage us from staying. Sadly, we waited. After over 20 minutes we asked the host how much longer the wait would be. He said he had just prepared our table then took us to one that had been empty and cleared since we walked in. We still had to ask for silverware later because there were none on that table. Our waitress took a significantly long time to come and was not friendly at all. She even swatted at my arm at one point to ask me what my drink order was again, and we had to ask for one of our drinks when she brought them incorrectly. After we ordered, we saw her twice more. After several other people brought our drinks and food, which was all overcooked and remained mostly uneaten, she came to see how we were doing. When asked for one refill, it took forever before someone else brought it. We had to ask for the bill and paid through their QR code there because we had no faith that she would return in a timely manner.

There was one blonde waitress that seemed to be engaging her section well and a gentleman we assumed was a manager picking up the slack for our waitress, Kennon.

This place is a nightmare. Please don't visit if you actually want to enjoy your dining experience. None of the staff were welcoming and enthusiastic. My family and I visited hoping that we would have a great experience similar to the ones we had at the Woodbridge location when it existed. unfortunately that wasn't the case. We walked into a fairly empty restaurant and were told it would be a 15min wait, and then waited 25 before asking for an updated wait time. The host stated that he just finished putting together our table and then led us to a table that had been empty the entire time. The server, Kennon, didn't acknowledge us for another 5+ minutes and didn't even greet us properly. She was pretty rude and acted as if we were bothering her by visiting the establishment. She messed up a drink order and didn't come back to the table except to ask if we needed to go boxes. A manager and another server were the ones that brought us our OVERCOOKED food, the drinks had weird debris in them as if the restaurant isn't cleaning their ice machine or drink nozzles, and we all left hungry because the food wasn't worth finishing. Ive heard the manassas location is better but at this point it's really not worth giving this franchise any more money.

Sadly, this place has lost it's mojo over the last couple years. The dinner menu has been reduced and simplified. The service is terrible. We keep saying we won't be back and then try again, only to regret it.

Good was good but I got 10 fries on my plate with a good sized burger. The ratio just didn't match well.

We got sat in a booth and no one came for 20 minutes. Starting from the host to the server. Food is good but the service is awful.

The only redeeming quality of this location is the few long term staff that remain. Management is apathetic, food quality substandard, and the location is overall dark and dingy. If you’re just looking for a cheap beer or to kill time, this is the perfect place for you.
