IHOP offers a mix of experiences - a slow start, excellent food, and a wait for the check. Despite some service hiccups, the "Watermelon Lemonade Splasher" was a hit. However, there seems to be a portion size issue, with pancakes noticeably smaller than before. The staff did their best as there were no lights in the dining area and there was no control of the air-conditioning. The food was a little mediocre for IHOP, but they were working under poor conditions. Liz, the host, possesses an exceptional personality and provides outstanding hospitality. Her interactions with guests were truly remarkable, and she promptly refilled beverages when servers were unavailable. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was wonderfully cooked to perfection, creating an amazing dining experience. Customers praised the friendly and helpful service, with one server being especially kind and professional, making sure orders were correct and drinks were refilled without being asked. The atmosphere was fine, and the food tasted just as good as the first time, showing consistency in quality. Overall, the restaurant continues to serve good food with friendly staff, despite occasional service issues and some minor concerns about portion sizes.
