Giving this place 3 stars only because it's hardly ever open when they have it advertised as being open. They have people showing up to a closed restaurant on a regular basis. The food is great. IF YOU CAN CATCH THEM ON A DAY THAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY OPEN!!! CALL BEFORE YOU GO!!! THEY WILL MOST LIKELY BE CLOSED!!!
We enjoyed our meal here. The cocktails were heavily flavored with Jamaican Rum - not your usual watered down version! The Red Snapper was delicious. And our server, Dee, was delightful! Don't miss out on this place.

I got the jerk chicken, plantains, tropical island ice tea (strong π). It was a good time.
Very good , ππΎ
Haitian Mac and cheese was good. The pineapple fried with shrimp was a little to greasy but was still good. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. Vibrant murals on the wall.
I usually do not reviews however on this evening my wife and I decided to dine here for our first time. Granted we made reservations in advance however we could have simply walked in as the establishment was not busy. After being seated we ordered our cocktails which were served (Bennie Man and the Zombie) nicely crafted but the Bennie Man needed an extra hit of the dark rum for my wifeβs satisfaction. We ordered the plantain tacos and the Red Snapper. While waiting the owner Cofi walked up and introduced himself once he realized what we ordered he went into the kitchen to ensure the meal was spot on! The red snapper was crispy, the cabbage was spicy, the taco plantains were amazing to include the homemade dressing on the side salad.Service is very much laid back so do expect a rather extended wait time but that said the meal was delicious!
Oxtail tacos were great.
My husband and I were in town visiting family and decided to eat here as a date night. Everything about our experience was amazing!! Our waiter was attentive, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was delicious. I ordered the veggie curry over white rice, with a side of plantains. My husband ordered the Hawaii burger with fries, and then we got the coconut shrimp appetizer. My curry was amazing, the plantains were sweet well cooked - not mushy at all. The burger was HUGE and my husband ate every bit of it. And the coconut shrimp, though not sweet like we are accustomed to, was delicious as well. We will definitely be back next time we are in Petersburg, and look forward to trying one of their reasonably-priced cocktails, as well as the rum cake that looked so good. Definitely check this place out!

First, Ms. Paris was an amazing hostess. Great smile and attentive (Donβt lose her). My husband and I had pineapple juice, waffles with plantains, and a side of shrimp - pretty good. Music was good but a little loud for that space- just take it down a little bit. This place is definitely worth a visit for Sunday brunch.

This was our first time here. We really enjoyed our meal. The wings was good and the oxtails were good. But my favorite was the ice cream. Thank you Paris for serving us this evening. We are going to try brunch on our next visit.

So disappointed π I have never had such horrible tasting food !!! Not even a hint of salt, garlic, flavor or basic seasoning detected in the jerk salmon, rasta pasta or rice and peas! Salmon was so dry it was barely edible π€’ I thought chefs taste their food before serving it? There's nooo way this could've passed anyone's taste test! A total waste of time and money ($75)!! Spare your taste buds and your wallet ππΎππΎππΎ

Soul Rebel is this mac and cheese? I paid an upcharge for mac and cheese and this is what my friend brought back to me. Looks like Rasta pasta, idk. It's smells like it's gone bad. Thought maybe it was just a stinky cheese used but I think it's just old.
The jerk chicken was good. I would have liked more sauce.
This was my first visit. Glad I could support the business but I probably won't return.
