Love Taco Rock! We had the shrimp and chicken tacos and the chips salsa and queso. The puffy chips were delicious. I would definitely go again.

TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They only have one person who speaks proper English at the bar and is the only one who can take orders while taking care of the rest of the bar, they won’t take an order over the phone when they finally pick up. Messed up my order and none of the people cooking knew what to even say. I’ll never order from there again because they make you go through hell to try to get it. But the food is hit or miss, some is good and some just isn’t for me but I don’t wanna go through a 20min headache just to get it and then it be wrong

Been to a other Taco Rock locations many times. Tried this place a few times since moving. Consistently underfilled tacos.
This last time we ordered 6 traditional tacos. All but the one barbacoa underfilled. Should have taken a picture, but we were hungry (still are). They subbed lengua for the carne asada we ordered as well. Never again. Better tacos elsewhere.

My wife and I ordered food (pickup) for the first game of the NFL season and spent about $70 on a bunch of food to try because the menu looked great. Unfortunately the food was extremely bland. The meat on the tacos didn’t taste like it’d been seasoned at all to the point we had to use salt and hot sauce to add flavor to our food - we never do that for tacos because lime should be all you need for a proper taco. They also skimped us on meat for most of the tacos - it was almost all toppings. We ordered the Birria egg rolls and they were dry and tasted as if they’d been made earlier in the day and weren’t fresh. Last we’d ordered a chicken quesadilla but only received a normal cheese quesadilla. My wife and I have had food from the Alexandria location and the food tasted much better so our experience seems to be unique to the Lorton location. Before leaving a negative review for the lorton location, we tried to call the store about our food but no one answered the phone.
Not sure if I’d go here again after the quality of our food this time.

Underwhelmed.
Lengua tacos are normally one of my favorites, but these had no flavor. Also, the tacos were tiny.
If you want a gimmick, come here.

This place is pretty good. Nothing to write home about but definitely a consistently good place to eat. The amount of meat on tacos isn’t great but all the different options are pretty cool and some of them are really good. Definitely worth stopping by.

If you haven’t had one of Ana’s watermelon nojitos at Taco Rock Lorton, you’re basically living in black-and-white and missing the technicolor part of life. The drink is so refreshing it could solve global warming if we let it. Perfectly balanced—sweet, tangy, minty, and somehow containing the exact ratio of hydration to happiness.
Ana herself? An absolute hospitality ninja. She’s the kind of person who can take your complicated “half ice, mint on the bottom, extra lime, but not too sweet” request and deliver something better than what you thought you wanted. She makes you feel like a VIP, even if you just wandered in looking like you lost a fight with a laundry basket.
Bottom line: Go for the tacos, stay for Ana’s watermelon nojito magic. If there were a Nobel Prize for mocktails, she’d already have it.

Visit this establishment frequently. Never had a bad experience. Never had anything in the menu I didn’t like. If you have the opportunity to be served by Anna consider it a blessing. The banter here is top notch with all of the bar tenders.

Went in for the first time today wanted to go somewhere different from where I usually go. I got the chicken tinga tacos with Mexican rice and black beans. The restaurant is pretty clean, the bar was open not many ppl sitting there. The place is famous for serving tacos on blue corn tortillas. Heck I didn’t have to wait long, food was presented nicely and crushed everything. The chicken was juicy n tasty, the tortilla wasn’t falling apart but the only negative was that the rice was undercooked a bit hard but overall I’d go back again
