Had a very pleasant experience and the wine was good. I appreciate the wonderful staff!

I recently visited Fifty-Third Winery & Vineyard and was thoroughly impressed with their Chardonnay, which I later discovered had won a gold award - it's easy to see why! The wine was exceptional, and the food pairings were equally impressive.

While the scenery was pleasant, it wasn't particularly noteworthy. However, the wines and food were reasonably priced, making it a great value. Be aware that the main area inside is quite small, but there is a larger backup area that can accommodate more guests. Unfortunately, the restrooms were small, uneven, and not particularly clean.

Despite some minor drawbacks, the excellent wine and food made up for the visit. I would recommend visiting Fifty-Third Winery & Vineyard, especially during the off-season. Once summer arrives, I anticipate the venue will fill up quickly. Overall, a great spot for wine enthusiasts, but don't expect to be wowed by the scenery or amenities. Parking is easy to find & plentiful.

Came here for a private party. Place is pretty nice. The event was held in a separate building from the tasting room. The area was very spacious. Restrooms were very clean. Staff was nice and knowledgeable in the wines. The party was catered but I am not sure if the Vineyard did the catering. If they did the food was great. I'm not a big wine person being as I only like desert or iced wine but was able to find something I actually liked and even took a bottle home. The tasting room is not that big but they have alot of outside areas to sit. The scenery is ok but nothing to really rave over. Over all a nice place. I'll be back.

1st let me say, it’s great that the local wineries celebrate and share where you should go next. Yesterday we visited Honah Lee which was great and they suggested we visit here next. Sheila is AMAZING! She was patient and friendly. The service makes me give them a 5 but the wine is also great. Sheila gave us our next destination so tomorrow it’s olde house. Blessings to Sheila and to the business. Thank you for your kindness.

10/10 they make excellent wine. There is beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. The woman who helped us was SO nice! She talked to us, gave us other places to visit, and even let us sample the port. But the wine was absolutely worth it! We visited a few other wineries and man, they were disappointing compared to here. This winery takes pride in the wine it makes, and it shows. Also, cute little charcuterie boards for $20 isn't bad. Can't wait to open the bottle we bought!

Perfect. Loved the outdoor space that slopes down giving you a great view of the vineyard. Staff was knowledgeable and fun. And I have great respect for the LEEDS certified building with solar panels.

Overall, a very fine winery. Nestled in a wooded area out in Louisa County. Not, as scenic as some of the other wineries, but still pretty. Wife got 2 flights and enjoyed most of them. They have a secondary building that looks like an event building. Looks to be a little newer in the area. We would definitely come back for the wine.

Visiting from NJ. Turing the wine country and can honestly say the wines ? here are very good. A little of everything from dry to sweet. It's definitely worth a visit.

Went for the first time this weekend to commemorate my partner’s mom’s passing as this was a favorite spot of her. After the first sip of my tasting, I can see why. The bar is lovely, has a low counter for a wheelchair user which was awesome as my partner is disabled. He was using his arm crutches, and Marie, our wine specialist was kind enough to ask if he wanted a stool to sit on. Marie was wonderful in general, with so much knowledge about the wines we chose paired with interesting personal anecdotes. Stacy also helped us and was wonderful as well. Highly recommend the Albariño Norte, Rhapsody, and the Quintessential Rosé. Thank you Marie, Stacy, and everyone at 53rd for helping us celebrate Jackie’s life.

Had so much fun wine tasting! The place was super nice and love that you got to choose which wines you wanted to taste out of a whole list. Very beautiful as well!

We stopped by the vineyard, and it just happened to be their 25th anniversary celebration. They had a good band on the patio.. The wine flights were very good. They also were given twenty five percent off of winebakThey also were given 25% off of wine if you bought three bottles. It was a good day at the 52rd.

We love going to 53rd. Their wine is fantastic, and the people are lovely. They are inclusive and make everyone feel welcome.

Highly recommend, hidden gem, worth the drive! This winery has a great variety of reds, whites, rose, and dessert wines! Affordable flights and wines. Beautiful atmosphere, modern style tasting room with beautiful deck area, cheese and cheese/meat options! Marie and Erin were wonderful and great help during our visit! I will definitely be back!
