We tried Obrigado once for dinner and we were disappointed. Attitude from the waitress, Rachel, and long wait for subpar food. Tried it again and Erin was wonderful with our family. She was busy and kept drinks refilled and was a wonderful conversationlist. Reuben was on par. Will be back, but only for lunch.

I was really excited about the paella but it just tasted like tomato.

Can't remember if I ever did a review of Obrigado before this. If I haven't, shame on me. It may be because I've been there many times and have taken it for granted. This time was a little bit special because my stepson was going to pick up the tab. His usual pick from anywhere we go is a hamburger. Excuse me, cheeseburger. There's never been a cheeseburger he didn't like. My wife ordered a chicken salad and proclaimed it to be great. She's never had a bad meal there - at least not that I know of. I always try to prepare myself be looking at the menu online to get some idea what I might order. What didn't show up online was the Specials menu. Well, anytime at Obrigado is difficult because I have to work my way through the list of items to figure which one I want. It's not easy because everything always looks good, so I turned my attention to the Specials menu and worked hard to figure out what would may be feel good this time. After a while, I decided to order the scallops pasta. How bad could it be? It wasn't bad. It wasn't good. It was great!!! The first thing I did was try the pasta and I knew that this was going to be a good experience. The roasted squash and zucchini were done right. The scallops were perfect. If the meal wouldn't have turned out well I would still return because of the history with them. That wasn't even close to being an issue. Appetizer? Calamari! There' s a place in Tennessee (of all places) that I think has the best calamari. Obrigado comes in a very, very, very close second. Try it. If you don't like it, go to Tennessee.

Took along time. Only one server. Seemed like the folks from the kitchen were trying to help out. Always nice folks working there but you need patience.

Atmosphere was great, food was delicious (highly recommend the shrimp!) and I had leftovers for lunch the next day! Our server Natalia was really friendly and made the experience especially nice. This restaurant will be on our list for a return visit.

Normally I would never bother to write a poor review . We had enjoyed coming here for the past five years. The food is constantly good. Service can lag behind at times Unfortunately, it started initially as we walked in and ( 4 dinners) we’re kept waiting 20 minutes to be seated with reservations. Our waitress developed an attitude when I tried to get her attention. She was cleaning the table next to us & no matter how many times I tried to get her attention, she looked down & did not respond until I raised my voice a bit, after 30 minutes of waiting for our drinks. I told her we were still waiting for our.l drinks. She snapped at me , with an attitude & said you can see we are busy. Well she took a bit longer to get our drinks. She finally took our order. Food arrived 37 minutes later. I and my friend ordered the Crab Cakes for $32.00. Well they arrived Brunt Flat Pancakes. My friend was very gracious and peeled back the outside and scraped off what she could and ate what she could I sent my Crab-cakes back and didn’t eat. I refused to reorder. There was no manager available to speak too. I was annoyed by the waitress attitude. I stopped at the bar & asked the names of the owners. I explained my experience & the attitude waitress came over & injected herself and bark at us, that dinner was Comped. I spoke up & stated i had intention of paying fir something burnt & had bit eaten. I explained to the bartender that we have always had a good experience because the food was consistently delicious. She appreciated the comment. I told her I was a professional cook and if one if my servers ever spoke to a customer like had. It would be her last night. I must apologize for the poor & long review. Being waitress/waiter is hard work. The workload can be overwhelming. Maybe this waitress should fine other employment.Dietary restrictions: Peanut allergy. Worried about the cross contamination if frying seafood & other proteins in same oil & in tge frill.

Good food and tasteful ambiance, but a rather limited menu. Which is not to say that what they have isn't excellent, as is the service.

Food - BLT was bangin’! Lots of bacon, fresh tomatoes and garlic Mayo was tasty! Burger was not “pink” per request. Fries were fresh. Cesar salad felt like it was lacking flavor.Service - really nice server. Food was brought out by another server and not what was ordered. Missing a burger patty, chips instead of fries and missing salad.Atmosphere - comfy and felt just right. Beautiful artwork all around! Conclusion - If I’m around again, I’ll give them a second try.Daniel’s One-Liner - Fresh local ingredients is their strong suit.

INCREDIBLE Food, INCREDIBLE Service, INCREDIBLE Ambiance We were visiting from Texas and wanted a change. A change we got.... Not only were the Entrees extraordinary the deserts were amazingly decadent. The decor was an added bonus

I checked this place out while in Louisa. The burger and fries were very good and the service was excellent even though they appeared short-staffed. I'll stop by again.
