Smokin Eddie's offers consistently good food and service at a reasonable price point. It's a local business that seems to have a steady local following. The restaurant does not serve alcohol and is a little dated on the interior but I enjoy this restaurant and have never been disappointed by my meal. The pulled chicken sandwich, mozzarella sticks and onion rings are my favorite items.

I got 3 bbq sandwich combos with Mac n cheese and green beans , they dudnt give us mac n cheese, they gave us coleslaw instead also ask for bbq sauce on the side . It tasted like taco seasoning and water.

I will be honest and I hate to do it but I got the combination plate of bbq, that was the worst bbq sauce I’ve ever tasted and the meat was soo tough and dry it’s seriously the worst bbq I’ve ever had in my life. I’m sorry it really was Cole slaw was good but that was it the easy bake Mac and cheese just ain’t cutting

We really like the barbecue choices and daily specials at Smokin' Eddies. Prices are very reasonable, portions are large, and servers are very friendly. It's our local go-to place for a relaxing meal.

Got the 2 meat (brisket/pork) platter with 2 sides. Comes with a store bought dinner roll. The Brisket is definitely better than the pulled pork. Neither meats are sauced so you get an up front hickory smoke punch. Both meats were pretty dry so they definitely needed the sauce. They have a mild and a hot sauce, same sauce just added cayenne im guessing. Cole slaw has no flavor whatsoever. The baked beans are a little to sweet for me.There are a lot of other menu items to try.I would give it another try just to check.out the chicken and or something elsen but will definitely pass on the pulled pork next go round. Definitely a mediocre bbq platter IMO.

They were out of some important things and also had restrictions on menu a availability. Beef brisket was like shredded show leather.

Good food, good prices. We were driving around Louisa County, looking for a place to have lunch and this jumped out at us! This a neighborhood place outside of Charlottesville so I would imagine it is not well known outside of the area. But anyone who likes BBQ in Louisa probably knows about it.

Do not order the brisket sandwich. It is not brisket nor does it resemble brisket. It’s pot roast they call brisket. Very disappointed. Their sauce all seems kinda of weird, it smells kinda weird maybe to much vinegar but not sure. Only reason for two stars is the butt fries were decent and the service was friendly.
