It's such a beautiful space. Coffee and muffins are my favorite. The staff is absolutely wonderful! It's one of my favorite stops when I'm in town.

Cute place with a nice menu and wonderful staff, but stressful as hell in the AM. It's located in a renovated former residential house in a cute neighborhood. Overall it is very charming but it's pretty popular and has limited parking and the place is so tiny people are jam packed in the entryway/waiting room in morning so you can't tell who is next in line vs waiting. As a result, find myself and others awkwardly standing by the door or the stairway and having to constantly side step each other when people need to get around and hovering over each other. Super uncomfortable. Sounds silly but the inconvenience makes me avoid this place, even in the afternoon and instead I drive 20 minutes out of my way just for a cup of coffee when I don't make my own at home. Also seems like they need to work on staffing as there has been one young woman there by all by herself on several occasions getting visibly (and understandably) flustered by the crowd. The result has unfortunately been missed orders and a longer wait time than if she had proper help. Wait times exacerbate the feeling of claustrophobia in this place, as more and more people end up pressed together in one tiny room. Suggest that management approach orders differently, maybe give out numbers or something and use the space you have more efficiently by having people pick up their orders in a separate area (back room or outside when the weather warms up) from where orders are taken. Red Barn in Jefferson does a great job with this as an example. Also move the self help coffee station in the back again for the same reason. It is way too small of a space in there to have all that going on and could me more efficient and relaxing if each area of the house was used more effectively.

Love this place! We popped in to do some remote work while on a business trip. Quirky, fun, and strong community-based atmosphere, amazing coffee and quiche were to die for. Local art everywhere. We will be back!

My friend and I stopped in for coffee. They have lots of great options. The shop itself is warm and inviting. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she's very friendly and informative. Definitely will be back.

Glad we stumbled upon this charming spot! The welcoming staff, good food, and delightful coffee drinks made our visit enjoyable. Nestled in a neighborhood, the coffee house features mismatched seating, cute art on the walls, and even tables with games--plus, it's dog-friendly.

Quirky collection of local made cards and crafts for sale. Had delicious breakfast sandwich with a regular coffee. Really Enjoyed sitting on the porch swing, sipping the brew.

I have come here a few times mid bike ride for our rest stop. It has a great outdoor space. It has different seating options that include high tables and a porch swing. There is seating indoors as well, but have always sat outside. They have lots of bakery offerings but since I was on a bike ride and had already had the fuel I needed, I only ordered an Americano. However, the chocolate chip cookies kept calling my name so I went back for one of those. The service was friendly and efficient. I didn't have to wait too long for my Americano. The Americano was solid with a nicely bold and rounded out flavor. The cookie wasn't disappointing either. It had a strong vanilla flavor that I enjoyed. They get them delivered fresh daily. If I lived closer, I'd probably go back to try their other offerings. But since I don't, I'll juts have to wait for another bike trip out

After realizing we had nothing to eat for breakfast one weekend morning, we decided to give Back Street Brews a try. First, parking is not great, especially with the morning rush in the small gravel parking lot. Try to find street parking if you can. Staff was extremely friendly. There are a few different seating areas inside the meandering house, including a nice glass porch area. The bagels were ok- I know this place focuses on the drinks and that's fine. The strawberry smoothie was actually quite good and a nice morning pick me up. Its a great place to have in town and a good option for a quick breakfast or drink.
