The food was really good, I could absolutely do a takeout, their service on the other hand, was very bad. They only had one person as a cashier/waiter and a 9yr old who ended up serving our food. I don’t know what the situation was with their staff but it was a terrible service, thus, I decided to tip with cash and I still got charged for the service on my credit card (the little girl was the cashier). Normal stuff that a server does: filling up water, taking appetizer plates away, bringing new silverware if we’re out of it, was never done.

I get take-out here a couple times a month and it’s always delicious. The serving sizes are generous and everything is very flavorful. The staff are friendly. My favorite is the Basil Fried Rice. Thank you, Daughter Thai!

I moved to Lovettsville 5 years ago and had never eaten at Daughter Thai until last night. We usually drive into Purcellville for Thai food but didn't want to fight the traffic. What a nice surprise! The host and her daughter were so warm and kind and the food was absolutely delicious!! We love the colorful decor and my husband said the bacon wrapped shrimp was cooked perfectly and the best he had ever had. He woke up this morning still talking about it. lol. Thank you for a great dinner!

Wish I could leave zero stars. We were greeted by an unfriendly guy tonight (5/2) who said he was severely overwhelmed by the amount of people who came in. We were told to seat ourselves, but he still needed to clean the table, which we ended up cleaning ourselves to be able to seat our party. It took him approximately 10 minutes to come over to provide us 4 menus, said they were all he had. Took him an additional 5 minutes to bring us some waters to which he brought over practically huffing and puffing as if he were annoyed with our presence. We ended up leaving after waiting 20 minutes for him to come take our order.

Asked our server, Mark Anthony, to suggest an entree as I usually get Pad Thai and wanted to try something different. He recommended that I get the yellow curry with chicken and emphasized that I wouldn't be disappointed. He was 100% correct! Best Thai food I have ever had! Just enough spice and very flavorful! If you love Thai food, great service, and intimate atmospher, do yourself a favor and visit Daughter Thai. You absolutely will not be disappointed!

This is a gem in a small town with a large vegan menu. Multiple vegan curries to choose from. I had the broccoli in sauce with added tofu and it was enough for two meals. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking.

I’ve just moved to lovettsville and I can, without a doubt, say that Daughter Thai has become a favorite. I’ve tried something different every time I’ve ordered and every dish has been excellent. I’ve done both take out and delivery. Excellent service each time. I need to come in and sit down. I’m so glad I have this lovely restaurant so close.
