What an incredibly beautiful winery! The new building completed in August 2023 is quite the showplace. The fire was perfect for the cold day and the records playing in the background were delightful. The owner, Ed, and his father in law were so welcoming. We really liked the wine as well. We can't wait to bring friends to this hidden gem!

Our wedding at Lovingston Winery was out of a dream. The setting is beautiful, with the vineyards in the foreground and the mountains in the background. We were able to have our whole wedding party stay on site which made the weekend so much smoother. The Tupelo House (event barn) is absolutely beautiful and such a fun place to dance the night away. Tessa and Wes were kind and helpful the entire time, and Tessa was so gracious with my many emails asking about small details for other vendors. They made us feel so welcome and valued, and we're so grateful for all of their help in making our day so special!

We couldn't have picked a better week to visit our friends family vacation home in Lovingston! The weather was beautiful and there was no rain in sight except for the day we left. Food: there wasn't any food present during this time. They did have cheeses to choose from but we had pie we just purchased and they were nice enough to allow us to eat it while we tasted the wine selections. Service: AWESOME! The owners invited us in and gave us a quick history lesson about the property. We were amazed at the beauty and the enthusiasm of this young newly wedded couple. They are the new owners were hard at work to rejuvenate this beautiful vineyard. We laughed a lot and enjoyed the four legged security guard out front, their dog. He checked us out and decided it was ok to stay. He offered our children a deck of uno cards as we sipped. Ambiance: I would say breathtaking. We visited during our spring break. It was so sunny at the top of the hill and they had it set up for a wedding the next day, if I can remember. The horses were roaming at the bottom of the vineyard and it was a lovely pond that sat on the property that was just so tranquil. They also showed us where they were building another outside barn for customers to use when attending events. The wine, the owners and most importantly the vineyard was more than we hoped for. Something reminiscent of better homes and garden. Bonus: do yourself a favor and stop by or call to see what great gifts they may offer for the holidays! We visited Lovingston for spring break April 17-22, 2023

Make this your next stop! If you like wine, you need to go here! It's a new barn in a picturesque setting! They even serve their wine in Reidel glasses!

Lovingston Winery holds a special place in our hearts--so much so that we've chosen it as the venue for our wedding! The wines are wonderful; the Seyval Blanc, in particular, is so good. The owners and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell they have a passion for both wine and hospitality! The winery's setting is also stunning, with picturesque views overlooking rolling hills and vineyards. Lovingston is a hidden gem and provides a wonderful escape from the "more popular" and busier wineries scattered throughout Virginia. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a lovely experience on a Saturday afternoon. The resident wine enthusiast, Steven, was absolutely correct when he said, “everything is good.” All the wines, cheese, cupcakes and the company and conversations. Thank you all for your hospitality!

Beautiful, relaxing vineyard with classic old world wines. We especially liked their Merlot.

Cannot say enough good things about this place!!!My husband and I got married at the winery on June 1Oth, and it was perfect. The venue is beautiful, clean, warm and inviting, the weather was absolutely perfect, and our guests loved it. We got countless compliments on our location + venue choice. But most impactful to us was the owners. Wes and Tessa are such a beautiful couple and so wonderful to work with. They were more than our venue’s owners, they became friends and encouragers to us throughout our wedding planning, and were so incredibly helpful on the day of. We can’t thank them enough. They truly treated us all like family, and were more than happy to help us in any way they could. You can truly see their hearts for serving others, and it elevated our whole experience beyond measure.I’m a VA wedding planner/coordinator, and I can honestly say that you will have a hard time finding a better venue in Virginia. I’ll be recommending the Lovingston Winery to everybody I know.If you’re still reading this, it’s your sign to book your wedding here :)With love, Will & Cait Parker <3

Wonderful winery with great people and fabulous views. I was first attracted to this winery, because of their Pinotage grape, which is similar to the Pinot noir‘s that I enjoyed in Oregon. The owners are very friendly, and Amanda the tasting room manager is awesome, and also makes great cupcakes. I’ve been to two wine dinners here that were great fun. They also provide charcuterie boards. I would highly recommend this winery to anyone in the area.
