Quaint Inn in Lovingston VA, exterior gives a charming Dutch-German vibe, with an archway and painted designs on the shutters and sides. Room is cute: original artwork on the walls, beds with dimmer lights on the headboards as a feature new to me but I could get used to. Clean, comfortable beds, very quiet at night. We all got a good nights rest. Amenities included: Mini fridge and microwave, large TV, beautiful desk, plenty of lamps. Shower pressure was so great I doubled up on my showers. There's a pizzeria across the street, a brief walk for a satisfying Italian meal. Highly recommend a stay.

This may be the cleanest motel room I’ve ever stayed in. Every space of the room was perfectly clean. The furniture was modern, bed extremely comfortable. A nice peaceful place to stay. Staff was professional and eager to assist. I personally complimented the Housekeeping Staff on the standards at this motel. Would return again.

Perfectly nice place to spend the night as I did not feel like driving back to Richmond late at night. I was in the area to attend an event. When I found at the evening event would not end until 10pm or so, I decided to get a room at the same place my cousins were staying. Luckily they had a vacancy and could accommodate me.The room, while a tad dated, was very clean and had the basics I needed for an overnight stay - comfy bed, fluffy towels and even a mini-fridge. My room was surprisingly quiet given the proximity to Route 29. They do not have an ice machine, but the nice lady in the front office was happy to fill up my ice bucket in the front office. For a quick overnight, it was certainly a better deal than what the area agri-tourism B&Bs are charging.

Clean quaint room very friendly and courteous staff. The owners will make you coffee at the office and I must add that they were very considerate. I would be happy staying here again. The wifi was good, plenty of hot water & towels, mini fridge. The inn is located conveniently; you are right next to a busy highway so consider that if you wanted something more quiet and secluded.

This is the ONLY hotel/motel in this little town but it is family owned and the owners are super friendly. It's not the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, but, for what you pay they are clean, comfortable and the owners and staf could not be friendlier.
My family has been having our reunion for the last 20 years and this hotel is a true Gem to our trip! So sad this year everyone has beat me to booking the room! I will be hopefully crashing an aunties room! The village inn is our family. Clean, quiet, SAFE!!!!!!

Mom and I had to stay because of the storm that came through Nelson. Lighting hit a tree and caused alot of craziness in the end our electric panel ended up on the ground. We had to stay the whole week. The owners were so kind and friendly to mom and I.

Super clean, super quiet, family owned and operated. From the min you are welcomed there at the front office, it felt more like staying at a friend or family's house then at a hotel. Comfy beds, pillows and plenty of towels. Will absolutely stay there again when in town!

We stayed here as a quick stop driving up from Florida. We were very impressed by the cleanliness & comfort of the room for the price. The location was convenient (right off the highway) but felt safe and private enough that we didn’t think anyone would try to steal the bikes off of our car or anything. We didn’t book online & just pulled up and the price was $91. We didn’t use the shower or anything but the bathroom & entire place was very clean, quiet. The room was just larger than we expected which was a pleasant surprise! The bed was comfy enough & linens were clean. Would definitely stay again & recommend!
