Well balanced dishes. The moujodreah, a green lentils and rice dish, was superb. He adjusted the heat level based on preference, and used a side of tzatziki as a palate balancing element.
The baklava is outstanding. I'm used to most baklava being overwhelmingly sweet, but his balance of honey, nuts, and filo are so well done that every element is noticeable and isn't overpowered by another. The baklava with chocolate is done in such a way that the added element melds in perfectly. You can tell that he has been making this dish, and perfecting it, for a very long time.
The conversation, should you choose to talk with him, is pleasant, kind-hearted, and thought-provoking without causing any discomfort.
I absolutely recommend eating here.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. I started with a rich, flavorful tomato soup that had the perfect balance of spices. For the main course, I tried the grilled chicken kebabs, which were perfectly cooked and juicy. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable without being overbearing. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for a relaxing meal.

The food were so good!! I couldn’t take pictures of other food that my husband ordered (because he couldn’t wait to try lol) but they were delicious too! We ordered grape leaves, lamb kabab with rice, samosa and Jordanian Mansaf. We will definitely go back 😋

Nayef is one of a kind. We had the opportunity to talk to him and hear his story. He is very friendly and welcoming. His food is all homemade and fresh. This was the best mediterranean food I have ever had. His falafel was moist and delicious and is incomparable to any other restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Nayef is the owner of the restaurant - he is generous, warm, and makes incredibly authentic Mediterranean food. Quality, great service, and authenticity are some of the few amazing things you will experience at Al Rayan. I will be back!
