I gotta say customer service, food quality, and seasonal menu items have improved over the last 2 years. Been going to this location for years to dine-in or use curbside to go for carryout. With the price increases in fast food chains, Applebee's has been a better option if your not in a rush. They had a special that gives this huge sandwich (burger or chicken), fries, and a drink for 9.99 that had me stuffed. Sometimes you can add flavors to their lemonade like blue raspberry. Cocktails are decent, but they stop serving alcohol 30 minutes before they close, same as most places in Lynchburg for last calls. I showed up on St Patrick's day but late like 10:40pm so I tried out the new lemonade since I couldn't order a beer and it was yummy. My favorite dish is the chicken fried wonton tacos! Everyone was super nice to me despite me showing up 20 minutes to closing and my food was excellent and came out faster than expected.

Had a fantastic experience at this location. We had a large group of guys and they handled us with great service. This Applebees never disappoints. Charles is the manager, and there was a bit of confusion on the checks and he helped us figure it all out with fantastic communication and customer service. The experience was splendid and we will be returning soon!

Great food and service. Lost two stars due to high price. 2/$25 wasn't bad ($30 with a tip) but since last time I was here a basic meal with water is $50 with tip!

We’ve had Chelsey M a couple times and she has always been a delight! She’s so kind her smile has always been the highlight of our experience she is genuinely an amazing person and unapologetic about it we absolutely love her!

Hair was found in our salmon entree tonight. Our Waiter was great..the manager offered $15 discount on our 2/$35 meal deal. I couldn't eat my food after seeing the cooked/fried hair found in his. I didn't want to cause a scene. I asked to speak with the Mgr after receiving a check for $50. I could hear staff speaking from the kitchen about it and one loudly volunteering to deal with me while I waited for the manager.. i ended paying $29+tip and won't be returning. Poor experience all-round. Used to be one of our favorite go-to chains.

We come to Applebees every year for Christmas and truly love it! This year 2024 we had the pleasure of being served by Whitney she was wonderful! Terrific personality and great customer service skills 👍 thank you for always providing a great experience keep up the good work 👍
