My family of 8 and I ate here this morning & it is the best food we have had in a long time! For better or worse, I am a bit of a food snob having come from a long line a fabulous chefs, so when I try a restaurant with a high rating only to be disappointed by the food, left wishing I had stayed home & cooked for myself, it is heartbreaking. With Batter Bar, it was the exact opposite. Every item we ordered was delicious! Not only were they already busy when we arrived, but they handled our large family who speaks Ukrainian as a primary language with smiles and grace. From the questions we had to the large order we placed consisting of hot teas, iced coffees, lattes, and almost every crepe on the menu, the process was seamless. Our order was correct, our crepes were thin & light, just as the perfect crepe should be, & our food and beverages came out quickly. I absolutely loved the Peach + Prosciutto crepe and the Chocolate Banana crepe I shared with my husband. My only regret is that we don't live closer so we can eat here more often. If you are ever in Lynchburg or just want really divine crepes, check out Batter Bar. They deserve every star and then some!

Absolutely wonderful service and delicious crepes! I got the hazelberry one and the creme brulee one and loved both! The cream in the creme brulee crepe tasted like the filling to a cream puff or Boston cream donut. 10/10? The picture I added is half of each one.
Place was great! Brought the food to our table, very attentive. The Crepes were delicious (both savory and fruity). Prices were wonderful! I would recommend 10 out of 10!

Great people, phenomenal food, the creativity of the menu is outstanding. They bring in new dishes regularly. My wife and my's favorite spot in town to grab a sweet or savory treat. Also the coffee bar? Bar none the best in town wish I could give this 100 stars.
Delicious, fresh crêpes. Pleasant surprise. We had the ham and cheese, and it exceeded our expectations. As a French person, I’ve eaten a fair amount of crêpes from many places in my life, and you guys are doing great. Thank you for skillfully perpetuating the art of crêpe-making!

The crepes are phenomenal, personal fave is the bacon mushroom Swiss. They had an off-site event today so no crepes but they had a TON of pastries and these folks don't miss. My chocolate croissant was amazing and the pop tarts are always to die for. The service as always was incredibly friendly today. One of my favorite spots downtown!
