This little cafe is nestled in and amongst a beautiful bookstore. So cozy!

I was gifted a gift card to this location. It was in the amount of $50. I do not frequent this location, but I had been one time previously to use my gift card, so there was probably $40-$45 on the card. I took my children today to get a treat after school, and the person working said they couldn’t take my gift card because it was from their old system and she didn’t have any way to prove there was money on it. Considering the first time I went, the cream on the counter was curdled and ruined my coffee, I will certainly NEVER return. I would never, ever recommend this place.

Stopped by on the way out of town, had one of the best bfast sandwiches of my life (eggs cooked perfectly, ingredients very fresh, loved the pesto) and ended up spending over an hour browsing through all the books :) atmosphere was delightful and I could have spent all day there!

We love going to Given’s and we were all excited to try out the coffee with new ownership! Happy to report that they did not disappoint. The staff was so sweet and really helpful in choosing a drink featured on their seasonal menu. We also ordered a panini and it was a great size, and my sister and I even split it for a lunch pick me up. We loved everything! Only downside was that we came with my family and my nephew is in a wheelchair, and it was so so sad not being able to sit in the cafe area with him. Tables were blocking every entrance and were too small for us to maneuver thru with him. He felt embarrassed and we just felt sad overall about the situation, but we went to the kids area and got his spirits up before leaving! Just doesn’t make sense how that area isn’t wheelchair friendly and the rest of the book store is, but overall, we would go back for coffee at least in and out! Pleasantly surprised and happy we got to try something new!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options!

Dietary restrictions: Just ask!

Parking: Lot in front!

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly!

Wheelchair accessibility: As mentioned above, not accesible in the café after you order, but throughout the bookstore it is!

I was so disappointed. It was my 1st time here since the change of cafes. I specifically came to get a Milton Milkshake for my daughter & me for Valentine’s Day. There was only 1 person working. She had to do all the drink AND food orders. It didn’t seem extremely busy, but there were quite a few orders & it took close to 25 minutes to get our Miltons. They were much smaller than they had been at the last cafe (see pic) & I would have been fine with it if it also had been the same consistency as a milkshake. It wasn’t. It was the consistency of a frappe. The flavor was great, but it was so thin. If it’s going to be that consistency, at least give me more of it. For that size & price, it should be the thickness of a milkshake, like it’s supposed to be. Very disappointed.

If you're looking for a unique place to grab a coffee, breakfast, or lunch, this is it! Personally I like perusing the bookstore with an iced latte!

I have had good experiences here in the past; however, I visited today and they had no cow milk for coffee. I had to choose a plant-milk, however I was not offered a discount on the typical upcharge that comes with plant milk. Additionally, I ordered a sandwich that included bacon. When I received it with no bacon, I was then told that they had run out of bacon. I was not informed of that prior to ordering, nor was I offered a discount for part of my meal missing. I was quite disappointed with my experience.

Food is WELL below average. Ate it once and that was enough--more bread than toppings. Atmosphere is fine if you're a college student or if you don't mind sharing your space with kids sprawled our studying. I miss the old cafe in this space.

Not sure what your experience has been at Corduroy Coffee, but I've been twice and neither time positive. Today they said they're updating their computer system and wouldn't accept their own gift card. The chicken salad croissant was neither toasted nor accompanied by a side item or any flatware. The only reason to even still come would be the Milton but it's only half the size it used to be when Drowsy Poet was in business and it's very pricey for a very small cup.

Went there this afternoon and a nice young man named Evan helped me. He made delicious coffee and was so sweet. I loved the experience.

If you’re looking for a place to get a good cup of coffee and a pastry, while you study or hang with friends; then this is a great place. The food menu is limited. I do wish it offered more selections.

The atmosphere is beautiful and I've heard so many great things about this coffee shop. Unfortunately, it just wasn't as good as other local coffee shops. I got a frappe, and it was super icey with very little flavor. Maybe their other drinks are better, but this was a disappointment. The price on the menu seems reasonable, but I added a flavor, and I guess tax is high because I paid almost $8 for the small.
