My wife and I had the pleasure of eating at Dish this evening on a random date night and it was an absolutely amazing! Walking in you find linen tables and a very relaxing environment. Once seated the staff provided a great atmosphere with a good play list of music. The food is delicious and came out to our table in perfect timing increments allowing your palate to enjoy each plate’s individual flavors. I highly recommend Dish!

We have really enjoyed Dish. Food is so good. Favorites…pimento cheese app, the tofu/broccoli/cashew dish, and the Basque Shrimp. We tried the Chocolate Pot de Crème dessert last night… delish!! 5 stars!!!
Dish is my go to restaurant in Lynchburg. I bring out of town visitors, come here for special occasions or just because I don’t feel like cooking! The basic menu is excellent but the daily specialties keep me interested to check out what is new.
My parents and I had an OUTSTANDING dinner here! We shared the brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and carnitas tacos. Along with pecan pie and tiramisu for dessert. All delicious. Cauliflower was the star. Service was fantastic. Great for vegetarians and great value overall. Also loved the intimate atmosphere and fun art. If we lived in Lynchburg, we’d eat here once a week!!
Dish is my favorite bar in Lynchburg. I always feel safe and welcomed here and I’ve literally never have a bad time. 10/10 will always recommend coming here <3

My husband and I celebrated our birthdays at Dish on Saturday and it was AMAZING 🤩 The service, Brussels, calamari, pasta, hummus, Italian sandwich, chips and salsa, bread and garlic olive oil, risotto, cauliflower and the drinks 🍷 Thank you for the best birthday dinner! ❤️

Came here after a few drinks for a late-night bite and a few more drinks. Staff were fantastic, as was the atmosphere. The sandwich I had was bloody delicious. Only thing was it was a bit pricey.

A nice range of food items with specials. It's delicious, solid portion sizes, and a good price point. The drinks pair well or on their own and the staff is friendly. It's a relaxed atmosphere well suited for groups, dates, or solo. Mondays you can kick back and play Mario Kart.

My notes from eating at Dish: Varied assortment of wines - got Lapis Luna Reserve Cabernet Franc 2020 Bartender/server: my bartender was Krystal. Very friendly, attentive, but not intrusive!!! Good knowledge of the menu. Crostini: perfectly grilled, just the right amount of crunch on both sides of the bread and thick enough to be soft in the middle Mussels: marinara sauce did not overwhelm the mussels (as is often the case); plump mussels were steamed perfectly with a perfect amount of firmness and no rubberyness. Wonderful basil flavor infused the sauce and the mussels. One dozen mussels - no closed shells Soundtrack: 30’s, 40’s & 50’s equivalent of ‘soft jazz’- smooth but hip - classic tunes Spotify playlist ‘fallout radio’ Scallops: couscous, scallops (pan seared), asparagus: For those of you who know me, I am very serious about my seared scallops. These held their own even in competition with my memories/reviews from San Diego and Cocoa Beach - two of the best seared scallop entrees I’ve ever had. No dryness, perfect texture and strong scallop taste. Asparagus had a great grilled flavor to it. Couscous was uninteresting (to me). Tasted like standard out of the box plain couscous. I had hoped the chef might have punched it up with maybe a little bit of lemon or herbs (but after the mussels , crostini, scallops, and asparagus the couscous was neither needed (except for plating) nor missed. Bottom line: GREAT discovery and well worth coming back to the next time I’m in Lynchburg.
