Fantastic drinks made by an attentive, social bartender and a great choice of playlists ranging from 70's hits to jazz. The food is handcrafted, fresh and unique seeing as they have a rolling menu based on what is freshest. They are a great late night bar as well, offering engaging events like Mario Cart tournaments, DJ sets, themed parties and more. There are no stairs here to dine or go to the restroom, so it is a wheelchair accessible space. Loved our visits here and are thankful to have a local space that is so adaptable! It transitions seamlessly from a swanky dinner spot to a late night hang out.

My wife and I have had Dish on our list for a long time and were both left with the feeling of “why have we not been here sooner?”The vibe is immaculate, perfect for a glass of wine and light fare before the opera. After trying one taste of the garlic butter for the bread I knew it was on. The empanadas were all gas no brakes..top tier ?We’ll definitely be back, there are several dishes on the menu we want to try.

We tried the fried rice with chicken, the curried cauliflower and the empanadas. All three were excellent! The service was spot on and the atmosphere was relaxed.

When we walked in, everyone including the owner looked at us like we interrupted their night. No one cares to greet us. We walked out as fast as we walked in.
My wife and I were in Lynchburg doing errands, and we decided on an early dinner before heading back to Danville. Dish was consistently mentioned in reviews as being a top choice in L'burg, so we gave it a whirl. So glad we did! It's a tapas restaurant, small and quaint. Service was very good, but it was really all about the food. The hummus and flatbread was perfect. We followed that with Basque shrimp, and while it needed salt, once that was procured the dish was terrific. They have housemade bread served with roasted garlic and parmesan in butter. Also terrific. Main course was butter sautéed scallops with a vegetable puree and braised fennel. It was dreamy. We also had coconut j*** cod with black beans and rice, and fried plantain. Absolutely delicious, and the best plantain we've ever had. We wrapped up dinner with homemade tiramisu and cannolis with truffles. Again (and no surprise by now), fantastic. Do yourself a favor and visit Dish!
