Doc's Diner is gone, replaced with a Slim Chickens franchise. Parking is restricted to LU permit-holders during the school day, but the public can park there after 4 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends as a means of attracting non-student restaurant patrons (CFAW permits will also work).

FREE VALET PARKING complimentary of LUPD. Get your car taken for free! They will tow your car here for no reason, than the fact they want your money. *Disclaimer* To use this free valet service, you will have to pay $100 and will have to pick up your car yourself at BeeLine Towing, other than that you don't have to do anything else (literally)!!! Unfortunately, I can only give it two stars as this valet service is only available until 4pm Monday -friday

Stopped in after leaving college wrestling match and was surprised. Everything is $11.99 including drinks. Order via kiosk. Some customizing of your order but not much--no problem with that. Food is brought to your table. No hostess or waitress. Clean your own table. (Which is fine with me). I had spicey bean burger which was amazing. Hubby had nachos which were OK but plain with not much taste. Definitely a college atmosphere--across from Liberty University. If you haven't visited a FOD (food on demand) restaurant it is a unique opportunity

When the student are back I stay away due to the place being packed at times. Service is normally good and the food is a step above fastfood.

Wish I had read reviews before I trekked After spending a grand on a CFAW event, coming from NH and lodging nearby, I hoped to maybe cut cost by eating a late lunch at the "diner." Was hoping to enjoy a little diner food, with a hot cup of coffee, and some peace and quiet after all of the craziness of this trip so far. Instead, I walked in to computer screens labeled for LU students, geared for them to utilize their meal plan cards. I was able to use my CC, and ordered some chicken tenders with fries as the side, and mozzarella sticks to later share w my son at the hotel. I noted that there was a salad bar type of space(yuck) that came with the food, and, after feeling confused, realized the reason I couldn't buy a drink was because the cafeteria drinks were included w the meal. So I figured, ok, $26 seemed very pricey but maybe the atmosphere and food will make up for that? Nope. After a little moment of confusion and reading screens to see, I saw that I just needed to find a table and that my food would at least be brought to me. I got my weak coffee in the plastic cafeteria mug,and my water, and found the least dirty booth. Music was blasting... couldn't tune it out to read my book and sip coffee. I guess the music thing is fun for the students; I think I read that the students can select the songs that play, so, that's fun for them. Just wasn't what I was hoping for. I did wait quite a while before a gal dropped my food at my table with barely a grunted "you're welcome." I ate some of it and realized I'd be happier just packing it up and bringing it back to the hotel room and getting a cup of hotel coffee. I went up to the counter and asked the gals if they had any kind of to-go box or bag, and was told no. So, after spending $26, I had to throw away a large amount of food as I was not about to dump it into my purse to bring with me. I am including a pic of the food I threw away. By the way, you have to also carry and clear your own plates/cups/baskets when you're done. If you are looking for a smaller school cafeteria, with loud music and cafeteria type food, go here. If you are looking for a "diner" this is not one.

Good food. Expensive if you use actual money, so I wouldn't recommend it for normal diners. It is a Liberty Student dining option, with a decent menu. Good variety. The amount of time it takes to get your food varies. From 11-5 it is not hard to get it in about 10-20 minutes. After 5, it is mostly Liberty students and starts filling up quickly. Especially on the weekends. On the weekends, you can wait more than an hour for your food due to both the crowd and the number of students.

It is very bad. Don't go here if you want to live.

horrible. no service whatsoever. I've had better service at Arbies. Absolutely not child friendly. The food was not even good. it took forever to get it. The dips/sauces on the bar looked crusty. They ran out of burgers while we were there. If you are not a college student with a 50% discount its not even worth the money. It was $70 and the kids didn't eat their food, well guess what, the diner doesn't let you take it home so 2 entire meals that we paid $12 each for- trashed. $24 we had to throw away because this restaurant thrives from college kids that don't care what they ingest. There was a spill and no one even cleaned it until we asked them to. so people just kept tracking through it making it worse.

Food is subpar.. I only eat here sometimes because I have a meal plan at Liberty. I noticed the soup they keep out is used for at least 3 days. The food is inconsistent.

We walked in and the entrance smelled dirty. We were hungry so ignored that problem, found a place to sit, and realized no human being was going to greet us or make us feel welcomed. We finally located computers in the corner where we guessed we could order food. The menu above stated "all food items can be purchased for $11 or one swipe". Some of those items were bread and jelly, some chicken salad or sandwiches. No shake. So, if we order bread and jelly, does that cost $11? We stood around for awhile, attempted to make eye contact with the kitchen staff, got annoyed at being completely ignored and went to the big golden arch instead.
