The service was great, but our food came out cold, and one in our party’s didn’t come out until we’d finished eating. They comped her meal without us mentioning anything which was very kind. I think they’re just finding their rhythm still. Will be back!

Went to First Watch Lynchburg this morning to have breakfast with our daughter before she and her husband move out of town. We were excited to go because we knew the food and atmosphere would be worth the price. As expected, the food was awesome, but the music volume quickly became intrusive to our conversation. We were the only customers present, so I kindly asked our server if they could turn the music down just slightly, and without hesitation, the answer was no, the music "has to be left on four." I half-jokingly replied, "Is that company policy?" The answer was "yes." So for the next 45 minutes we remained the only people in the room and had to struggle to hear each other over music that seemed more appropriate for a day at the beach than an early morning breakfast. We made the best of it, but it will be a long time before we go there again, which seems unfortunate and unnecessary. I'm not a "customer is always right" guy, but I feel like we weren't asking too much in this case.

We have ate at First Watch before and don't remember it being so difficult to get ICED water, with lemon to drink, with my meal. My husband got coffee. I ordered "water with lemon" she brought a glass bottle with room temp water and two small glasses, maybe 8oz glasses. No lemon, no ice, no straw!!! When she came back for our order, I asked for lemon. Thinking it would trigger her memory, since I'm choosing water and lemon with my meal, I would probably like iced water. She returns with the lemon. No ice, no straw. When I mentioned ice, she informed me "We just don't give ice like that" When she returned the THIRD time, for our order, she brought back the ice. By that time, I was so frustrated with the whole experience, the ice was just an after thought. I had worked so hard to get it, I didn't even want it any more. If there is an extra charge for iced water with lemon and a straw, I would gladly have paid the charge. I was not even given the option. As many people who, I would think, prefer water with lemon, over other drinks, the option should not be thar hard to figure out. Just want my thoughts, as a paying customer to be heard.

Even though it was jam packed on a Sunday morning, we were immediately seated. Server was very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious with the exception of the seasoned potatoes which were too salty. Only lost a star for atmosphere because it is quite loud when the restaurant is full.

I ordered the skillet with tomatoes and bacon...salty not fresh. I've been to First Watch in Laurel, Richmond are really outstanding, tasteful dishes..Lynchburg First Watch was a disappointment. The Purple Haze juice was really refreshing. The Avocado Toast had to be sent back. It's a no for me.

Our server Kelly was fantastic. She made sure we were comfortable in our booth, gave us time to order, brought the food out hot, and made sure we always had full glasses :)

The food here is always delicious. I had the pumpkin pancakes and the million dollar bacon, 10/10 would recommend.

Everything I've had here has been excellent. Quality ingredients and it shows. The only negative is that it's very loud in the restaurant.
