They have a wide assortment of high quality coffees and teas which are fair trade and organic. They roast the beans there, serve coffee and tea beverages. I tried the iced blackberry matcha latte which was really nice, friendly service!

Legitimately the best coffee in Lynchburg. Really high grade specialty coffee, and an expert roaster. You get some unique single origins (ex. DR Congo), and the standbys like Ethiopian, Guatemala, Honduras.

Went to the Lynchburg farmer’s market this morning for breakfast and stopped by the sweetest little coffee shop, Grains of Sense Coffee Roastery, Tea Gallery & Cafe. If you love your morning brew this little country hotspot is so cute. Don’t bring your uncaffeinated self in a hurry because they don’t rush. Every cup is slow and easy and worth the wait.

Good coffee, not too sweet, not too hot, plus they had a Jesus sign
Went to get coffee during regular business hours and they were closed. No sign or explanation. Just closed. Very frustrating because I drive from a ways away and needed the coffee for this weekend for an event for work.

This is an example of exactly the kind of business I love to support. The owner clearly is in this for his own enjoyment and passion and we get to reap the rewards! You will be very hard pressed to find better fresh beans in Virginia. My weekend trips to the farmers market wouldn't be complete with out a stop at the roaster.
