This is an example of exactly the kind of business I love to support. The owner clearly is in this for his own enjoyment and passion and we get to reap the rewards! You will be very hard pressed to find better fresh beans in Virginia. My weekend trips to the farmers market wouldn't be complete with out a stop at the roaster.
To me one of the simple pleasures in life is a great cup of coffee to start the morning. So to sit here with an Italian Roast Sumatra Gayo Mandiri from Grains of Sense takes me back to Italy where I so remember the best coffee. I like the fact the owner Tom roasts all the coffee and they are free trade certified and responsibly grown. Very important to me. I highly recommend and at this point I would say support local, small businesses, but I would also recommend those perusing...
