Not wonderful. I remember going in here when I was in high school, and it hasn't changed a bit since then. Outdated decor. The standard 1970s fried seafood type of place. Everything just tastes like fry oil. An absolute ton of hush puppies were the highlight of the meal. Pass on the crab cakes. They are almost entirely bread and have very little crab in them. They actually looked a bit like pancakes. Tartar sauce had the consistency and appearance of ranch dressing, And was just sitting out unrefrigerated on the tables. Server was friendly enough, but had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. This is seafood for people who don't actually know seafood.

I ordered takeout, Captains platter for two. We were unable to eat it. It has been some time since I had eaten/ordered their food. I don't know what has happened but the food was one big greasy mess. Tasted like it was all cooked in old oil. Money wasted. All dumped in garbage. Owners/Manager's get in that kitchen and figure it out.

The atmosphere is nice. I like the sea decor and the lighting is nice for dining. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. Menu choices are good and varied. And you get a good amount of food for the price.
