Food is as mid as it gets. I got the Peking duck and for real they have to just take it off the menu, its way too dry and there's no good meat. Im not a vegan but they did a disservice to that duck's life. Good dumplings though.
We visited with a party of 14. We made a reservation and our tables were ready when we arrived. We had amazing food and great service. Will be back!
We got take outthe servings were huge made 3 meals 😋
It's been a while since we've been. I don't remember having any complaints. The most recent visit was disappointing.
The Crab Rangoon was a major disappointment, Instead of happy little wonton, they may as well have not put anything in them. Over fried, little crunchy packets of nothing.
The Shrimp Tempura was 99% Tempura, with a little rubbery line of used to be a butterflied shrimp in the middle, with what appeared to have all of the butterflied meat removed for a different dish. More or less inedible.
The egg rolls seemed to be a standard frozen section variety with little taste.
I ordered an entree that would typically be considered hot and spicy, asked for it to be kicked up a few notches from there, and there again, was little to no heat, spice or flavor.
I reheated what I didn't eat of the entree for lunch the next day and fixed it, so there was some redemption for my palette at the very least. I should have to spend money and time to fix other people's dishes, though.
It feels like we got stuck in Covid protocols and never left. I'd rather spend more, to get it right, than to be taken for a depressing ride.
Sushi was mostly cucumber and very bland. My spicy tuna was not spicy at all and was more cucumber than tuna. The entrees were ok but a bit overly salty.
This place is always a hit or miss. Sometimes I visit and I swear they have the best sesame chicken in Lynchburg and then sometimes the chicken is so hard and stringy it's almost inedible. If they could only be consistent they would be amazing
Quantity and quality is very poor.
We got take out because our favorite Chinese place has been closed a while and we aren’t sure if they’re coming back. We got our usual which are typically safe among most places. I got honey chicken and it was the weirdest and most unappetizing version I’ve had. There were nuts and raisins which I’ve never encouraged and the breading was so weird and it was inedible. The fried rice was so salty I have never had rice this bad. It was incredibly expensive for an inedible meal. We will not be back and we used to love Jade Palace. Unsure if it’s an off night but I couldn’t eat anything we ordered.

Delicious and reasonably priced eat in experience. We had a group of 14 people and the staff were very gracious and served us well. We dined on a Sunday and it was a quiet and clean environment. Can’t wait to go back for more!

I got there when it was opening so it wasn't too busy. The food was really good. Plenty of parking.

I went here with my family when I was a kid all the time. Once I got older and then with covid world, I haven't been back, but always wanted to try it again. My bf and I decided to give it a try since we've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area. We went on a Monday around 11:30am, just for the specific time frame some may ask.
The customer service was fast and whatever you asked for, they gave you. Very polite and attentive. Not many people work there, but they stay constantly busy with take out orders so be mindful that just because you dine in and you are the only table, they actually have many to go orders to prepare plus yours.
The food was incredible!!! The other couple that were dining in right before us, even told the waiter how good the food was and they got to go orders of their exact meal. The chicken skewers are great, most places you can't tell it's chicken, but these actually have such a good flavor. My bf ordered the tempura shrimp, veggies, and chicken with hot sour soup and he was so surprised at the size of the meal and the quality. I got the almond chicken, and it was just as good and creamy as I remembered it. Also, I got kimchi(homemade) and egg drop soup, which you can never go wrong with it. The kimchi tasted so much better than the store bought one i usually buy and had so much garlic in it, which just made it so mich better. We did end up taking most of our order home because it was so much food for the price, which is great. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful! Next time we'll try to get pictures of our food.
The restaurant is very clean, has slight music playing(perfect volume), majority of the time you may be the only dine in table, which isn't a bad thing at all.
Overall our experience was fantastic! We definitely recommend and will continue to get food from here again! Very pleasant experience! TRY IT IF YOU HAVENT YET AND LOVE CHINESE FOOD!

I’m not sure how they managed to make a fried chicken dish soggy, but it had the consistency of snot. Do not get the dumplings unless you like uncooked dough. Fried rice should not be spongey, wet, and tasteless. Save yourself some money and go to the frozen food isle and microwave some Chinese food. My wife and I literally threw our food out and got some fried chicken from Sheetz.

Best place for great food. Moved away from Lynchburg. Drove 3 hrs out of are way just to eat there. Best pork fried rice. Had to laugh about this survey when it asked about price. Food is so good price doesn't matter, but it's better than the place we have near us. Tempura shrimp is better than anywhere else.
