We love Chinese food so we were excited to find a place and unfortunately the food was horrible. The cashier didn’t give us the right food we asked for. We over paid for extra rice didn’t want and didn’t eat any of our food.

Food is VERY bland. Fried rice doesn’t have any color, egg roll is double fried and greasy. Those who commented saying the food is delicious never had good Chinese food. This food is terrible for being over charged. I asked for two combinations, and got two large containers and a large container of rice. All charged separately too. Definitely will not be back.

Their delivery service q menu, is trash. Took over a hour, to receive food. Which made the food cold. Never will go back just because of delivery service.

I couldn't eat the food that was delivered to me because they didn't include utensils with my order. Before anyone says anything,I was on field trip at LU

I used to love this place, but the cook has tried to over charge me with the menu sitting right there. i order the same thing all the time and the price keeps changing. last time a pint of shrimp fried rice and two egg rolls he immediately said $20! and when I showed him the menu of the prices that were on it, you could tell he knew he was caught so he charged me exactly what the menu price said so I think that he’s been doing that because he wants to profit with a tip. I will not come back here ever again.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best sesame chicken in town but it’s in the conversation. When it comes to sweet and sour chicken King’s Island is the GOAT and KH would be a contender if only they had veggies in the sauce.

They’ll definitely will be in the rotation going forward. For $9.85 you get a large serving along with an egg roll. Also, shoutout to the single guy running the show. He was doing it all: cooking, taking orders and serving finished dishes. Respect

As a self admitted Chinese food addict who lived in the Lynchburg area for 30 years, you will not find a better sesame chicken and lo mein anywhere in town. I’ve worked in the food industry, and I speak from experience when I say that the guy who runs this place is like a superhero. Answering the phone, cooking the food, ringing up orders, dealing with customers. Always patient, always friendly. If you’re unsure where to go for Chinese food, please consider King House even if it is a little out of the way.
