The BEST. I have to admit years ago something happened here, were I said I’d never be back. Well you know that saying “never say never”. About a year and a half ago, I went back and now I order from there often. The portions are filling and the taste, yummy. The service is wonderful, always smiling even during their busiest times.

Lady was extremely impatient and rude over the phone and sushi was disappointing. Not good- even for Lynchburg.

Staff is rude and food is not fresh. Bland and greasy. Disgusting

Tried takeout from Kyoto and was completely disappointed. I ordered a crunchy salmon roll, of which I received what looked like a fried dough ball, and when I bit into it, it was just deep-fried rice with almost nothing inside—bland and greasy. Called to express my dissatisfaction, and they refused a refund, only offering credit if I drove back. The woman on the phone was rude and argumentative. Terrible service, won’t be back. Do not recommend.

The very best take out Japanese/asian around! We tried their food this evening and were so impressed with the quality freshness , portions (very large!) and flavor of our dishes.great prices too!!

We had (pictured) Teriyaki chicken, hibachi, and vegetable hibachi, and fantastic spring rolls!

Great family run restaurant. I highly recommend the filet mignon and shrimp hibachi. They give you lots of meat and great yum yum sauce. Our go to place for take out Japanese.

Cheap and tasty, this is my go-to takeout spot.

I eat here so much the staff knows what I am going to order before I can say it. The food never disappoints and Kyoto has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Lynchburg. It's hard to make great tasting food consistently, but they have figured it out.

The food portions were larger than expected, and the food was delicious. The steak was juicy and tender. Staff was incredibly friendly. Definitely recommend.

DO NOT EAT HERE!..Food is way over priced, $36 just to get poor quality food. The beef “teriyaki” NO FLAVOR. Food was just terrible all together.
