Cheesesteaks were good but not quite as memorable as one in Philly would be. For the area this spot is still worth a try when you are missing hoagies and steaks. Portions were adequate but not huge. A fair value for price and will satisfy your craving!

I have been wanting to try this place for a few weeks and we finally tried it yesterday. It was DELICIOUS!!! Highly highly recommend! Yummy cheesesteak and onion rings and cheese cake for dessert!

Hands down, the best Philly cheese steak in Lynchburg and beyond! The staff were friendly and the food was Outstanding! My wife and I have been searching for a cheese steak sandwich that compares to her favorite sub shop in Maryland, and Taste of Philly does not disappoint. We will definitely be returning for more.

Phenomenal service. Decent prices. The cheesesteaks tasted like home, right down to the roll. The roll makes the cheesesteak. The story behind this restaurant is touching. Don't get me started on the water ice! A must visit place for friendly service and amazing food!

We have always loved taste of Philly. They are just the best around but we haven’t had it in at least a year. Tonight we had 3 sick kids and I just didn’t feel like cooking. After feeding the kids the adults decided to order taste of Philly. It was as good as we remember if not better AND they have delivery which means it definitely will NOT be another year! Also service and delivery was amazing. Phillys were so hot it was like we just walked in and ordered them!

It's a pop and sons eatery with authentic Philly style subs. I had the chicken Philly cheese sub with onions and mayo and it was out of this world delicious! It's ran by a Philadelphia Native and his son's. It was very quaint and old school with nothing fancy but the food. They were very crowded and the owner was very nice and waited on us with a gorgeous smile. I would recommend this lil hole in the wall to anyone looking for a great Philly sub and great atmosphere... You won't be disappointed!!! BTW... They also sell burgers and fries.

10 or more years ago I came here with my uncle and we got some Philly cheesesteaks and I remeber it being delicious. That was 10 years ago I moved to Kansas got married had kids and moved back here to Virginia so my tastes have changed. All that said, 10 years later it’s still if not more delicious, filling, amazing service, friendly and worth going to again and again. Taste of Philly thank you for an amazing meal. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for authentic cheese steaks, this is your place! These guys also do a fantastic burger, and the fries are always hot and crispy. For a bit of Philly in here in Virginia, it's perfect.

It’s hard to find a good cheesesteak but thankfully our Lynchburg search started and ended here. I came here to rave over the cheesesteak which was delicious, but can say with utmost certainty that Thomas and his family solidified this place as the best. This family embodies customer service at its very core. Their cheesesteaks are legit. Amoroso rolls so they’re authentic cheesesteaks. Steak is top notch. Thanks Thomas for a great experience! You gained yourself a repeat customer.
